We primarily use it for Email protection and enhanced security features.

I like that it doesn't hold emails for any reason; it sends out notifications to the user as well as administrators. So we have a clear vision on the clear side of what is being blocked and in time as well.

And it is easy to use. 

 There is room for improvement in GUI because it is a bit old-fashioned. Moreover, it can add more advanced features compared to a competitor like Mimecast.

I have been using it for over two years.

I would rate the stability an eight out of ten. 

The stability is good. 

There are around 800 to 1000 end users using this solution. I would rate the scalability an eight out of ten. It's good. Then depending on the usage, you can scale the existing storage and compute capacity.

Support is not so good, honestly. The response time could be faster.

I used Mimecast. It's pretty more advanced. First of all, it's cloud-based and known for full systems. And it has many advanced security features, which Trustwave does not have. But it's more costly than Trustwave.

I would rate my experience with the initial setup a four out of ten when one is difficult, and ten is easy. It's difficult initially since it's an on-premise solution. So it's a bit difficult. 

So the initial assessment took a few days, and then the deployment was a couple of days.

It is on-prem. That is also one of the improvements you need to make on the cloud. Most of the people like things to be on the cloud. You don't have the burden of setting up things on-premise.

The pricing is in the middle. Compared to other products, it should be five out of ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive.

Overall, I would rate the solution a seven out of ten. I would recommend using it.

The product's most valuable features are spam protection and artificial intelligence.

The product's marketing could be better. Additionally, the technical support services and stability need improvement as well.

The product's stability could be better. It needs improvement regarding the availability of technical support for patch updates. I rate its stability a seven out of ten.

Our customers for the product are small, medium, and large enterprises.

The vendor should provide technical support services. Instead, we are providing support for the customer. Whenever we contact their team, it takes time to respond to queries.

Trustwave Secure Email Gateway is easy to deploy. We have a big team for implementation. We designate one engineer for a particular project.

It is a cost-effective product. It has per-user-based pricing, which costs around $18 per user. We purchase its yearly license.

Most of our customers prefer using the cloud version of the product. I advise others to integrate it with Microsoft 365. However, Trustwave's support team needs executives with essential technical knowledge. I rate Trustwave Secure Email Gateway an eight out of ten.
