The most valuable feature of this product is that it is compliant with the industry's best practice guidelines: INPO Standards (Institute of Nuclear Power Operations).
What is most valuable?
How has it helped my organization?
For our client, it was a big improvement. They have a unique integrated system, compliant with the INPO standards. The outages can be easily managed and performed in a shorter period of time. The preventive and corrective maintenance activities can be easily planned and managed.
What needs improvement?
An improvement for this product would be to have more pre-defined key performance indicators for the plant managers.
The product provides several baseline reports, dashboards and KPIs that provide insight into specific business operations, displayed in graphical terms or as detailed reports. The presented information can be used to influence business decisions by presenting a clear picture of the selected indicators that show how a business functions. If the product has from the beginning more pre-defined indicators, the plant managers can benefit more from the beginning from the product implementation. Of course any time a new indicator can be developed according to the specific requests, but this will take time.
For how long have I used the solution?
Our client, a nuclear power plant, has used this solution for more than 10 years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
We have not had stability issues.
How are customer service and technical support?
I would give technical support a rating of 9/10.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Our client did not use a different EAM solution before. They had an ERP solution implemented that is currently integrated with the EAM solution.
How was the initial setup?
From the consultants' point of view, it was straightforward. They knew exactly what was to be done. It was complex, considering that we had to convince the client to follow the suggested setup. With less customizations of the product, they will have more benefits in terms of effort and the cost of maintenance.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The licensing is for the entire Asset Suite system and for each individual user. If a user needs access to different Asset Suite modules, only one license for the entire system is needed. The price is not small, but it is reasonable considering the complexity of the solution. The report quality-price it is a very good one.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Our client did evaluate other solutions. They evaluated other known ERP and EAM systems. They concluded that even if there are good products on the market, Asset Suite is suitable because it has dedicated modules for the nuclear power plants according to the INPO standards.
What other advice do I have?
Try to implement the product as it is, without customizations, if possible. The maintenance of the system will be easier in this way, without additional costs.
