We can easily connect to the AWS resources. We can use the credentials to fetch data from other resources. It is easy to interact with other resources. The product can store large volumes of data. We can visualize the data on S3 using QuickSight. The tool is quickly able to read the data by other services. We can easily run the query and get the data.
What needs improvement?
The search option must be enabled in the UI to filter and retrieve files. The filter option must be provided within the directory. Users must be able to filter files based on the file name.

The solution is simple and affordable to use. The solution's API Integration requests are straightforward; we just have to integrate and acquire the service.
What needs improvement?
They should improve in the area of metadata curation. Sometimes we open metadata via open source or ground stations in the area. They should design some features with improved performance where we can gain insights as well. It will help in maintaining the solution considering the cost.
It would be great if they get a new feature with the QV mechanism.

It is a very scalable solution. I have 100-300 colleagues using the solution.

The setup was straightforward. We had an engineer help us establish configuration between the backend and the object. We had to work on the permissions, and the rest was easy.

We have an in-house engineering team. They are skilled in doing the entire setup.

It's worth the price considering its functionality.
What other advice do I have?
I advise others to have a support team. They should ensure the best practices for transferring the use history from AWS onto other applications via the cloud. It's very easy to find those actions. Most importantly, they must be very careful about the solution's security. They should plan the automation model right, ensuring to maintain the surface area for security. Otherwise, they have nothing to worry about as the solution is well established.

What is our primary use case?
We use it for Dollar Bank to provide them with Telematics and to transport IoT solutions. We host our full term on X-ray and the data we receive from the devices is put into the Amazon S3 bucket by using the Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose. The data in the Amazon S3 bucket is synced into Google BigFix.
What is most valuable?
The most valuable feature of Amazon S3 is storage, which provides a personal capacity. Besides, we can send an analytical query on the data storage side using Aetna as a bucket. It also allows us to expose the data and provide data access depending on who we want to share it with. We can also specify how we want to sort the data inside, in a numerical format or any other format.
What needs improvement?
An encryption mechanism and storage optimization could be added.

I have been using Amazon S3 for around four years now.

The product is pretty stable. I do not recollect facing any issues with the solution.

It is easy to set up, and it's cheap. We have to pay as long as it's used, however, it's not so expensive.

What needs improvement?
My company is in several regions with some offices in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Sometimes we have to concentrate networks to a certain location, like the EU, for example. Therefore, if we set S3 in the EU region from the Middle East or Africa, the latency is an issue and we find it hard to connect to that S3. If we could have a much faster connection, it would be better.
While the price is pretty cheap, it could always be less costly.

The deployment times vary from project to project. Sometimes, you can deploy everything in a day. Sometimes it takes a week. Checking sessions usually take some time.

We have witnessed an ROI while using the solution.

The pricing is very reasonable. We do not find it expensive at all.
