We did use APATAR to provide a pilot healthcare information system made for a primary healthcare clinic to demonstrate system functionality using actual data in a testing environment.
What is most valuable?
- Ease of use - anyone with basic IT skills can use it.
- Best used for pilot systems.
- Cleansing data and transformation are made in very easy steps.
- GUI is user-friendly.
What needs improvement?
It is an open source tool that has not seen any serious development activities in the past 2-3 years. I hope the development team and community will re-consider investing their time to come up with new versions and continue building more features for it.
