Some use the solution as a day-to-day tool for querying databases to have information.
What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
It can be used with many DBMSs and is very practical and user-friendly. It has a built-in feature for scheduling SQL queries directly. I use it primarily for day-to-day querying and analytics. It allows me to access multiple databases from a single window or tool.
What needs improvement?
It's a very generic tool and could be more specific for certain types of DBMS. While it does have some specific tooling, like for Oracle, there are features for certain databases that can't be found because of its general nature. For example, tools tailored to specific databases, like Firebase, might offer features such as cache configuration directly within the tool. Other vendors, like Artisan, provide functionality that's specific to certain configurations. Improving its cloud capabilities could also be beneficial.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I rate the solution’s stability as nine out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I rate the solution’s scalability a nine out of ten.
How are customer service and support?
I haven't had many cases with technical support, mostly just a few related to licensing. For example, during the migration process from one machine to another, if we forget to release the license before formatting a PC, we need to contact support to reset the license so it can be used on a different PC.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Most DBMSs have their own management solutions. We use Management Studio for MySQL Server and HANA Studio for Oracle .
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is easy and takes a couple of minutes to complete.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The price is okay. The license we require is for a couple of users who connect directly. There are ten customers.
I rate the product’s pricing a nine out of ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive.
What other advice do I have?
Aqua Studio is a great tool for managing multiple databases and centralizing them in one place. Its other features include facility and ease of use.
Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.
