With the Managed Risk feature, they offer a vulnerability report to us on a daily basis. So, I'm able to see what are the actions I need to take to either patch or fix the issue. This feature provides real-time insights into vulnerabilities and helps me take necessary actions promptly.

The return on investment is the peace of mind that I get knowing our network is secure. They have been in this business for well over ten years, and they act as an extension of our team, allowing my small team to focus on their primary responsibilities without worrying about security issues.

The reporting is really good from what I've seen so far. They are on top of the alerts, especially the critical ones. This proactive approach to alert management ensures that if someone downloads something on a workstation that shouldn't be downloaded, they address it quickly. Their ability to identify and provide information on critical alerts is very valuable.

The major area for improvement is the lack of a patch management feature to resolve some of the vulnerabilities detected. This addition would enhance their offerings and provide a more comprehensive service.

I've been with them for two years, going on three.

The customer support is incredible. They offer a white glove service. Their technicians and engineers are really knowledgeable and professional. If there's something in question, they'll always answer it.

We did not use a different solution before choosing Arctic Wolf. It has been Arctic Wolf from the start.

The peace of mind is the return on investment. It's not a dollar figure but the security assurance that Arctic Wolf provides. They act as an extension of our team, offering expertise that would be costly to have in-house.

I believe you pay a premium for a SOC. The cost depends on the size of the organization, and I find it fair based on the size of our organization.

We did not evaluate other options when choosing Arctic Wolf.

I would recommend Arctic Wolf Managed Risk to others for the value and peace of mind it provides. My advice would be for them to improve their offerings by adding a patch management feature.

I'd rate the solution ten out of ten.

Ensuring our vulnerability management program is adequate, with great real-time reporting on various risks to our environment, is one of the main use cases for Arctic Wolf Managed Risk, along with the timeliness of mitigating those risks or escalations in our incident response program.

Their staff is timely, being an extension of the team in escalations that can get verified in real time and escalated quickly when needed, which are some of the better features of Arctic Wolf Managed Risk.

There are benefits regarding the integration capabilities due to the way the dashboard is set up, which is pretty easy and intuitive. Their team is helpful. Our team works directly with them, so there is a lot of good one-on-one communication, especially monthly updates that we can look back on and do check-ins. They are really good about their program, looking at each of these various areas to focus on.

The user-friendly interface and customizable reporting helped our IT team interpret and act on the platform's insights because they did not have any problems using it. It took a little time when first getting on the platform to understand how to use it, but that is similar to any tool. Once they were on it, they did not have any problem navigating through the screens and understanding the data.

The integration capabilities of Arctic Wolf Managed Risk with our existing security tools or workflows could be enhanced. They have their own methodology for vulnerability scanning and reporting, but while we can integrate ours as well, I would prefer to see that capability improved.

The dashboard and reporting part of Arctic Wolf Managed Risk needs improvement. From a technical aspect, it is very good, but there are some things where the security team needs to dig in a little bit on how they might manipulate the data coming out. It is a very good platform for investigating and managing risk.

For how long have I used the solution?

It was not complex to set up Arctic Wolf Managed Risk. We paid for them to help us, so we received the support we needed to do so.

We thought that Arctic Wolf Managed Risk support was very responsive. Over the past two and a half years, there have probably only been two times that we might have been disappointed with an escalation, but their support staff has been very good.

We did a comparison of the pricing, setup cost, and licensing of the product to two or three other competitors, and we found Arctic Wolf Managed Risk to be very competitive. They were not the lowest, but they were not the highest, so that is why we chose them.

It is a bit hard to quantify how Arctic Wolf Managed Risk has positively impacted our organization overall. I cannot put that into any kind of quantifiable reason, but overall, it has done its job because we could mitigate that risk.

Nothing else comes to mind for improvements with the Arctic Wolf Managed Risk product.

On a scale of 1-10, I rate Arctic Wolf Managed Risk an 8.5.

I use Arctic Wolf Managed Risk to have information about my vulnerabilities. I am a customer, specifically an end-user of the solution.

I appreciate the professionalism of the tool and have faith in the results it delivers. I like the toolings, which are professional and effective. The solution provides better insights into organizational risks, which I can present as facts.

The presentation of the data could be improved. I believe they have significant room for improvement, particularly in making better analysis of the vulnerability data and presenting those data more effectively. They could do much better in utilizing AI capabilities for vulnerability analysis.

I have one year or so of experience working with the Arctic Wolf Managed Risk solution.

When it comes to vulnerability management, stability is not a priority for me. However, the solution is stable, but it doesn't add any extra value given the context of what it's being used for.

The solution is highly scalable. I can use it for both small and large companies, and it offers flexibility in application.

I receive high-quality support. However, the main weakness lies in the presentation of the data, which needs improvement.

Before Arctic Wolf Managed Risk, we had vulnerability tools but none that were professional vulnerability scan solutions. Our previous solutions only offered vendor-specific vulnerability perspectives. This new solution offers insights for all vendors, signifying a major upgrade from an amateur to a professional solution.

The initial setup is generally easier than mainstream tools, although there can be occasional hiccups. The process is definitely on the lighter side of tooling.

The solution impacts our organization by providing better risk insights, which I can present for economic impact. It helps remove risks that could lead to negative economic situations.

The pricing is fair, and I find it reasonable.

Overall, I rate the solution a seven out of ten. 

It is a professional product, however, I find it a bit behind the top competitors.

We have campaigns with Dell, Cisco, Microsoft, and some of the bigger players, and we are capturing reviews for all kinds of products across multiple industries. The solution is being used in enterprise-level environments.

We are specifically using Arctic Wolf Managed Risk for our security needs.

The user-friendly interface and customizable reporting have helped our IT team interpret and act on the platform's insights. The machine learning capabilities of Arctic Wolf Managed Risk have been valuable in identifying potential threats and providing suggestions.

There are some challenges with integrations in Arctic Wolf Managed Risk. Some integrations could be improved to enhance functionality.

We are currently using both Arctic Wolf Managed Risk and Qualys solutions. We specifically use Qualys for certain functionalities alongside Arctic Wolf Managed Risk.

There are companies that do vulnerability scans. However, what adds value is when two experts come and sit with you to scan and patch the vulnerabilities. Any 50-member or small company that has an IT footprint carries risk from a cybersecurity perspective. These companies use tools but don't have the talent to leverage them. 

Arctic Wolf Managed Risk needs to add more integrations. 

I have been working with the solution for one year. 

Arctic Wolf Managed Risk is scalable. 

The tool's deployment is quick and can be completed in 30-45 days. 

Arctic Wolf Managed Risk is reasonably priced and I rate it a four out of ten. 

I rate the product a nine out of ten. 

We are using this product to safeguard our IT assets from Cyber Security threats. A couple of years ago, we encountered a potential cyber security threat situation, and Arctic Wolf helped us address this issue. 

We have about 20 servers and more than 40 computers that Arctic Wolf scans for us on a weekly basis. The reporting as a result of this scanning helps us be more aware of the external threats that we face and address any potential security risks. 

There are some improvements we would like to see in the product that I have outlined below.

We like the reporting functionality and immediate alerts from the support team when they perceive a potential threat. The product helps us enforce discipline on our side to be up to date on our patching. Arctic Wolf also provides weekly bulletins on potential new threats. The value provided by Arctic Wolf is well aligned with our Cyber Security goals.

I like the following features related to the product and the overall support:

• I like the individual organizational security rating vs industry average rating. 
• They have a very detailed list of potential vulnerabilities found in IT assets and solutions.
• We get access to quarterly reviews with their team.
• The help desk support is on point and proactive. A ticket is opened and we are notified immediately if a potential threat is identified. 
• I like the fact that there is over-communication rather than less since it helps us to be disciplined. 

As far as the product is concerned, I would really like the scanning feature to let us know that a threat has been addressed once we apply the relevant patch.  We are not seeing this currently when running a scan. 

We have about 1500 lines showing as open vulnerabilities, and I believe we have addressed quite a few of them. However, the scan process does not indicate that the vulnerability has been addressed. We have an open help desk ticket with Arctic Wolf to address this and hope to have a resolution soon. 

As mentioned earlier, the service is great, and we have no concerns in that area.  

I've used the solution for a little over two years.

Arctic Wolf is our first solution.

The product is reasonably priced based on market conditions.

We use Arctic Wolf Managed Risk for regularly scanning everything on our network and scanning from the outside coming in. The solution lets us know if there are any vulnerabilities detected that we need to take action on, and see the results once we've patched them.

The most valuable feature of Arctic Wolf Managed Risk is being informed about what vulnerabilities there are exposed currently.

The tool only detects issues, it does not provide solutions for them. You will need to find a way to resolve the issues yourself. However, it does give you a score and a list of problems to address, ranked by their level of importance.

The scalability could improve.

I have been using Arctic Wolf Managed Risk for approximately two years.

I created a virtual server on-premise to scan internally and the vendor software scans us externally. It did not take long to build a VMware VM.

I deployed this solution with the help of the vendor.

The price of Arctic Wolf Managed Risk is reasonable compared to the competition.

Arctic Wolf Managed Risk is comparable to others solutions and the reason we chose it was that it was reasonably priced.

We have three administrators managing this solution.

My advice to others is for them to persist and continue utilizing the solution. Don't let setbacks discourage you. The tool will reveal more issues than you can handle, so prioritize addressing the critical ones.

We use this product to help identify cyber security vulnerabilities within our organization along with training our end users to be aware of cyber attacks and social engineer tactics to keep our assets secure. 

This solution has made huge strides in improving the awareness of our end users. 

We have already seen three specific instances where a malicious email has come through our spam filtering system and gotten to an end user, and the user noticed it right away and reported it to our technology team. We were able to respond accordingly. This is on top of the constant monitoring of the agent on each device to inform us of any vulnerabilities that need to be addressed.

The most valuable aspect so far is end-user awareness. This is the main pain point that all social engineers use to infect organizations like ours use. Arctic Wolf is a huge asset in helping our end users recognize the dangers of these tactics and helps all of us stay up to date on the latest tactics used.

The best way to take this product to the next level would be to implement a patch management solution. This product does a great job of finding the vulnerabilities and if they partnered with a product that could then patch these vulnerabilities, it would take their product and put them above any other solution in the game.

I've used the solution for three years.

Getting everything in one place and having a kind of unbiased solution that is separate from our patch management solution is valuable. We have a patch management solution that scans for any patches that can be applied and then applies these patches, but it doesn't hit everything. It also doesn't find all misconfigurations and things like that. Arctic Wolf Managed Risk kind of fills in the gaps and makes us aware of vulnerabilities or misconfigurations that exist out there. It does an agent scan for software versions and compares them to what CVs are out there and lets us know.

It also does a brute force external scan of all the equipment by using known hacks to try to get in. It makes us aware of any vulnerabilities. It provides a console where you can see them or rank them and deal with them.

It could be easier to use. They could present things in a little bit more ranked order rather than kind of giving you everything out there. It should highlight the really important stuff and make it easier to get to good rather than perfect. 

Currently, it tells you too much. You're fixing things that'll never happen. If it is trying to get you to fix everything, then it is too overwhelming, whereas it should just say that realistically, you just need to fix these, and then you can focus on those and get to good. So, it could do better about getting us to good rather than trying to get us to perfect. Being perfect is a problem because I'm never going to be perfect.

I have been using this solution since February. It has just been a few months.

It seems to be quite stable.

Their support is good. If you have questions, you can call them or submit a ticket. They're good to work with. They phoned us about a vulnerability to walk us through that.

Its initial setup is fairly straightforward. 

It depends on the company size quite a bit.

I would recommend this solution. We also use Arctic Wolf AWN CyberSOC. There might be better risk management solutions out there, but this one leverages all the same technology, so it is not a completely separate setup for us.
