The primary use case of this solution is to host our client websites, which are based on WordPress. It's easier to install WordPress on the Bluehost servers with a one-click installation.
What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
The most valuable feature is the one-click installation. All WordPress service providers have a one-click installation. I like it because it's just one click development. The developer does not need to have more knowledge about posting, or the cloud servers, they just have to enter the domain name and click the button, and WordPress is installed.
What needs improvement?
The solution's servers are in the US and Europe, and I would like to have additional servers near my region, in the APJ region so my clients don't experience any latency issues.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the solution for one year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The solution is stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The solution is not very scalable. I would not suggest the solution for scaling Node.js-based applications. We don't use these types of hosts, so I suggest using a different cloud solution such as Linode or cloud AWS.
How are customer service and support?
I have interacted with the technical support team and they are awesome. The solution also offers live chat support so it's not a problem that they don't offer local support.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is straightforward. Bluehost provides you with the login and password and everything is set up for you. You only need to log in and you can install your website. I give the solution a ten out of ten for ease of installation.
What about the implementation team?
The deployment was completed in-house.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The solution is a little more costly than other solutions but their technical support is better. I rate the solution a seven out of ten for cost.
What other advice do I have?
I give the solution a nine out of ten.
We don't use the solution for any other tech stack. For example, we have a Node.js application, we use Linode for now. But if we have WordPress websites, we use Bluehost or Namecheap.
Our organization has ten to twelve developers using the solution.
The solution is used occasionally in our organization. If you want to install a new website, or you have to make changes or explore files, not on a daily basis.
We currently have no plans to increase usage but it all depends on our client's requirements.
Comparatively, Bluehost is more expensive than Namecheap and in regards to speed, they are both hosted outside of my region and seem to be the same.
I would recommend the solution because it's easy to use and has a one-click installation, and the technical support team is very good at solving your problems.
