Site building has become faster and code deployments are managed smoothly across environments
In my opinion, one of the best features Acquia Digital Experience Platform (DXP) offers is Site Studio. Because for every new site that I have to spin up, it uses the same governed components. It makes it faster, launches with zero brand drift, and editors never need a developer for day-to-day page building. Site Studio helps my team launch sites faster because, for example, when I have a new site from the client that needs to be added as a sub-site into the main branch, I don't have to do much. I can use the existing base and speed up the process by using it. It makes it really easy for me to do that with Site Studio. Sometimes it can be a little tricky, but in my case, it makes the process a little bit faster. Acquia Digital Experience Platform (DXP) has positively impacted my organization because it eased the process.

Adobe Experience Manager offers enterprise-level digital assets management and very robust customization, brand value consistency, and omnichannel delivery. It saves development and maintenance time. The digital asset management and omnichannel delivery features have benefited my team by managing our digital assets, ensuring brand consistency, and enabling us to deliver customized content easily to our clients. Organizing and obtaining information from results is beneficial. Strengthening our online experience as a brand is valuable. Easy integration with other Adobe services improves productivity and provides a smooth experience. Adobe Experience Manager has positively impacted my organization by enabling component and page reuse, which reduces application size. It saves manual effort for maintaining all applications, improves traffic, and ensures consistency across all our applications. It provides better security, scalability, and makes our applications more robust.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Content Hub provides a centralized way to manage content."
"Every user is almost like a mini administrator, which spoke well to how they were connected globally."
"Acquia ensures we always have the latest releases available, which is a positive step forward in growth."
"One of the most valuable aspects is working with a recognized firm, which sometimes surpasses the commercial and marketing requirements for big customers."
"Adobe Experience Manager offers several best features, including user-friendliness and a more secure platform than any other content management systems I have worked with."
"I've used several CMS tools, but Adobe Experience Manager is feature-rich, especially for web security and content management. It's more efficient to manage content on Adobe Experience Manager, and you can do a lot with it, such as updating content at any time, and on any platform, even from mobile or tablet. Adobe Experience Manager is still getting updated daily, and it's the best CMS tool in the market for me. I like that you can manage assets in Adobe Experience Manager. I also like that the solution has an analytics dashboard that shows you where the traffic comes from, how many clicks come from a specific location, the number of clicks and impressions, etc. Adobe Experience Manager can be accessed by other teams, for example, the digital media department of my company, so the solution can be used and updated per each team's requirement. Adobe Experience Manager is more than just a web developer tool, as it also allows visibility tracking and has other uses. I also like that the GUI for Adobe Experience Manager is straightforward and catchy. It has separate folders and icons, so using Adobe Experience Manager isn't tough. The solution is straightforward to use and handle."
"The most valuable features of Adobe Experience Manager include its capability to manage content and create reusable fragments."
"It's a complete package. You don't need to look elsewhere for digital marketing."
"Adobe Experience Manager is one of the best enterprise-level content management and digital experience platforms available."
"AEM is a CMS and so much more, it requires more of my skills."
"Being able to connect everything to one universal system was a game changer for us, giving us an overall better digital experience."
"Adobe Experience Manager has had a positive impact by improving content management efficiency and consistency across digital channels."

Cons

"One area for improvement is the way Acquia sizes their platform for customers, which can be quite ambiguous and often results in penalties after doing business."
"In Site Factory, the provisioning of environments can take time."
"Once the site was originally developed, it needed to be transferred onto Acquia, which was quite a task."
"In terms of scalability, Acquia is not suitable for e-commerce; it's more suited for content publishing and marketing websites."
"The integration of the product with other Adobe Marketing Cloud products could be improved."
"Programming model could be improved, it's a monolithic solution."
"AEM, when setup using Mongo, rapidly gains size; hence it consumes a lot of storage space in a very short period of time."
"The licensing model is opaque, and technical support could be improved, especially for smaller companies."
"Adobe Experience Manager could improve by allowing the reuse of components like a progress bar across multiple pages to make the development process more efficient."
"Adobe Experience Manager's pricing could be improved."
"A little bit of background knowledge of coding and website structure is required."
"Bug troubleshooting is challenging and requires developer expertise."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"There's a free trial for one month for Adobe Experience Manager, which you can use for learning purposes, then, after the trial period, you'll need to purchase the license. Adobe offers a few plans for Adobe Experience Manager, but I'm unaware of how much my company is paying."
"It's really costly."
"Users have to pay a yearly licensing fee to use the solution, which is highly-priced."
"It's a costly solution. I would rate the price at two out of five on a scale from one to five, where one is the most expensive and five is the most competitive."
