Personalized content has streamlined role-based experiences and saves time for rapid updates
In Experience Manager, we perform authoring tasks. For example, if I need to add a form to my website, I need to author it from the Web Experience Manager, and then that will be available. However, that requires a release and everything. With Adobe Target, we can create an Experience Fragment and export and import it into Adobe Target, and we can use that Experience Fragment as content on the website. This does not require a release, and we save a lot of time in that process. We have saved a lot of development time. Usually, if we have to push changes to production, we need to go through a release cycle. We need to push our changes to QA, stage, and then production. We have a sprint of twenty-one days. With Adobe Target, if we want to do a hotfix or something of that kind, we can do it immediately, test it immediately, and push it to production without a release cycle. This saves money, time, and resources.

Have faced limitations due to integration complexity but have processed documents efficiently and reduced manual effort
Bedrock is basically a framework that can manage multiple large language models. Another useful tool is Amazon Textract which extracts text from documents. It helps with compliance because Amazon Textract itself doesn't store anything. When hundreds of documents are uploaded in an S3 bucket, the S3 bucket will store the documents, but Amazon Textract itself doesn't store anything. It pulls the contents of the documents and then passes them on to the next system, making it compliant. It helps in a great way by reducing the load on LLM and reducing the cost.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"With the solution's personalization, we can recommend to users the relevant products they are searching for."
"The best features are the form-based and visual-based methods; the form-based method allows us to use languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to create campaigns, while the visual-based method offers a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface to create campaigns."
"Additionally, Adobe Target offers features like multi-variation testing, automated personalization, and recommendations, which are particularly beneficial for e-commerce websites. Integration with other Adobe tools like AEM and Adobe Audience Manager further enhances its capabilities in audience segmentation and analytics for retargeting strategies."
"With Adobe Target, I can replace existing content with new or enhanced content, such as pop-ups, banners, or buttons. AB testing functionality in Adobe Target helps us gradually introduce potential offers or content variations to a portion of our audience. We monitor the interactions and gradually increase the exposure if the results are positive."
"It's very well-working and has never failed me. It's easy to install."
"I find Adobe Target very good for long optimization tests. After testing, it tells you which version is the winner and what improvements can be made. This gives me the confidence to provide a better customer experience by adopting the winning version of the page I'm testing."
"In two weeks, we achieved a six to seven percent increase in revenue."
"There's a full dashboard created for you to define what you want to personalize and how you want to display it. There is a categorization between the audience experiences and recommendations, where you can easily write your own criteria."
"The support is actually very good; I've worked with Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, but compared to the others, AWS support is excellent."
"Amazon Textract was easy to use."
"Amazon Textract is superior because it has features that allow you to use analytics or intelligent automation with the OCR; it will automatically identify key and value pairs, so you can use the data easily."
"With the help of Amazon Textract, we are reducing labor and manpower because with just one API call, we can get all the extracted information with its coordinates."
"In a project, I integrated Amazon Textract with Bedrock and passed the extracted document text to the LLM using Bedrock."

Cons

"There's room for improvement in Adobe Target, especially when simultaneously implementing the same activity across multiple websites. Currently, we can only run one activity per page, which can be limiting. Also, running various activities concurrently or executing near-real-time use cases can be complex and challenging with Adobe Target."
"The user interface for the form-based composer is slow, and the loading time is not optimized."
"Sometimes, the campaigns I create in Adobe Target don't work for unknown reasons. When this happens, I must start over from scratch to fix it, even if I use the same setup. This issue can be frustrating because the activities should work but don't display content on the page when it loads."
"The solution's technical support team is an area with certain concerns where improvements are required."
"The product implementation on the client side has limitations compared to server-side deployments. It needs more control and reliability with server-side setups."
"There are certain problems. Recommendations sometimes do not work when there are too many of them created. The Java script created inside the recommendation fails to load."
"Adobe Target is an expensive solution."
"From a mobile application standpoint, we have very limited resources. Maybe my knowledge is limited in terms of testing and validating my experiences, making it areas that need to be made more user-friendly."
"Some easy integration with other systems could be improved."
"Sometimes the tabular data does not process properly for complex tabular structures or complex tables."
"The product has not given correct results for me. It was not accurate, especially with handwritten items and documents with pencil marks, which Amazon Textract failed to identify correctly."
"They should provide an offline solution because in many areas in India and outside, there are clients facing Internet issues."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The platform is quite expensive."
"The pricing of Adobe Target depends on the perspective. It can be deemed as fair from a business perspective but it might be expensive for individuals."
"The solution's pricing is reasonable."
"There's no fixed price with Adobe; it depends on negotiations and business arrangements."
"The solution is expensive."
"All Adobe products are a little bit on the higher side."
"It has a high cost, so it is not a product that everyone can afford."
"The product is expensive."
