Enhanced security through session monitoring and activity recording
From an end-user point of view, it would be beneficial if the system could provide information about the last login. This would help identify if the server was accessed by me or if someone has potentially stolen my credentials. It would provide a clearer picture of whether ARCON Privileged Access Management is accessed by an authentic user.

Granular access controls and real-time session oversight have strengthened our compliance posture
I find the session recording feature of senhasegura Session Management awesome compared to BeyondTrust. Regarding automation in senhasegura Session Management, when configured properly, if you have done anything wrong, you will get an alert message stating that we need to do something because it is a dangerous situation, and it will not accept any wrong configuration until it is perfect. With reporting, senhasegura Session Management real-time reporting assists organizations in handling compliance violations as they are already compliant with the NCA, National Cyber Authority, and they have received the green signal for them. I assess the effectiveness of senhasegura Session Management in implementing granular access control as very good. I have found that they made it very easy to configure. There is no issue; anyone with a basic knowledge of IT can implement senhasegura Session Management.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"100% compliant and you don't have to maintain ID management for each and every user."
"One of the main benefits we've experienced is that Arcon helps us manage all our team's tasks and provides recording capabilities."
"The product is really a good product and a good value for the money, in terms of costs, user convenience, and functionality that they offer."
"With this log available, we can drill down to the activities performed by the people within our kiosk. There is a great feature where in the case of Unix servers, we have our own text-based logs. In the case of Window's server, we cannot create a text-based log, so our kiosk takes the screenshot or picture of the screen when I am working. It does this every three seconds."
"It helps in managing privileged access management as well as password management, auto-discovery, and access control."
"ARCON will give you all the features in a very cost-effective solution."
"The user interface, overall, is really good. If I have some 20 servers in my ID, I can easily see for which servers I have read-only access, for which servers I have prompt-access, and for which servers I have server admin access."
"We use ARCON Privileged Access Management to monitor and record our admin users' activity."
"I trust senhasegura Session Management and believe that every customer and partner trusts the product; definitely, they will grow on the product."

Cons

"The product is good but a lot of things can be changed, the way the system has been designed."
"Managing users is difficult, so that is something that can be improved."
"The solution needs more work on the password management side of things. Password management is a big challenge for us, and I would like to improve this aspect. We're finding that BeyondTrust is better in this regard, which is why we're probably going to migrate over. It will offer better security I think."
"A few areas for improvement in ARCON would be performance optimization, ensuring smoother management."
"If you take Microsoft hypervisor - which comes with its own interface, its own web layer, etc. - something like that also requires privileged IDs. As per our institution policy now, everything has to come through ARCON. We have demanded that these kind of advanced features also should be there."
"I'd also suggest adding a browser isolation feature to prevent cache storage on endpoints and mitigate cache-based attacks."
"They need to improve on technical support, because ARCON has become a critical application."
"ARCON Privileged Access Management is not a user-friendly solution, and the application flow from one screen to another is very complex."
"Support is one of the drawbacks or weak points I have noticed in senhasegura Session Management."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The cost of this product is very cheap, comparatively in the global market."
"Pricing is low and licensing is flexible."
"We have a subscription to use this solution."
"The licensing is simple, and there are only two types licensing: device licensing and user-based licensing."
"It is good value for our business. According to me, their competitors are more costly. Therefore, it is quite affordable. I find the ARCON to be much cheaper than the other products in the market."
"The pricing and licensing model is very economical."
"I definitely feel the product's pricing is a good value. It is one of the best products we have. The licensing is server-based."
"ARCON Privileged Access Management's pricing is reasonable."
