Role-based policies have simplified secure access control for all users and smart devices
I do not know about the functionality of Aruba ClearPass integration with a third party. If you ask me if there is support for Zebra and for different IoT devices, they have it. However, I do not know how to describe integration with other products. Aruba ClearPass can act as a RADIUS server and it can connect to the domain RADIUS server, for example. The biggest problem is when a customer does not know what they want with Aruba ClearPass. I can recommend Aruba ClearPass to other users because it is very stable. My review rating for this product is ten out of ten.

"Aruba ClearPass has improved the security control in our network environment."
"Aruba Clearpass has a great set of networking securing features and, with its four modules policy manager, guests, onboard, and insight, it will give you the best NAC solution along with AAA, RADIUS, TACACS+ and BYOD features, which will help you to have a robust security on your network."
"The product's policy management capabilities enable precise control over user access and device compliance."
"The most valuable feature, I would say, is the cost-effectiveness of the solution when compared to others."
"Aruba ClearPass's most valuable feature is dynamic segmentation."
"It supports AAA and offers a range of features, including guest authentication for visitors and 802.1X authentication for employees. ClearPass provides options for customized authentication methods, such as SMS and social media authentication, which customers are effectively utilizing."
"One of the most valuable features of the solution is the maturity of the product and, of course, the functionality is also very good."
"Integration with other vendors is possible."
"Ivanti NAC's most valuable feature is reasonable pricing."
"The profiler option allows me to see every detail in a systematic manner from a switch. I can choose the switch and I can see the port NAC address and time."

Cons

"I would like for Aruba to make it easier to configure. They could integrate the different engines (Policy Manager, Guest, Onboard) into one single product."
"Aruba needs to improve and the processes must be clear."
"The solution needs to upgrade its user interface. Right now, it's not so user friendly, and it's an aspect that my clients' wish was improved upon."
"If the UI is simplified and improved, bugs are minimized, and the support becomes more responsive, it would be perfect."
"Possibly some of the functions could be improved, but it's hard to say."
"The licensing model can be frustrating. A more streamlined menu of licensing options would be helpful."
"Aruba ClearPass has a complex pricing scheme, so that's an area for improvement. The process for setting up Aruba ClearPass also needs improvement. It could be easier."
"It should be clearer in the pre-sales stage that clear, documented, executive-supported InfoSec policy is the key to success."
"At some point, the server got cached and we faced several issues that impacted our customers. We would like to have this resolved."
"The documentation needs to be improved. There are a lot of details that are missed which makes it confusing."
"The product's performance needs improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution has a licensing model."
"There is a license to use Aruba ClearPass."
"I can't give the exact cost of Aruba ClearPass because that's handled by the purchasing team, but it's on the cheaper side, and on a scale of one to five, I'm rating the cost a four. Initially, the pricing for the solution is expensive in terms of deployment, but in the long term, for example, after more than five to ten years, the operational cost incurred by the company is quite affordable because you don't have to renew the license. It's a one-time purchase. My company only uses the standard license for Aruba ClearPass."
"We pay an annual licensing fee for Aruba and there are no additional costs."
"Cost is important. I switched because Aruba's costs were well below Cisco's."
"Aruba is a little more expensive than other products in the market here."
"The product is quite expensive. I rate its pricing a seven out of ten."
"The pricing is not bad and everything is included."
"The product is cost-effective."
