Has supported mid-market deployments with cloud-based centralized management and reliable wireless performance
I faced challenges earlier with a limitation of 50 APs in single sites, but that has enhanced to 100 numbers, eliminating that challenge for Aruba Instant On team. Additionally, some features are not listed in the cloud management platform and still require offline access, so enhancing the cloud management features would be better for us.

Extremely easy management of access points; user friendly dashboard
I like the ease of use this product offers; you can manage it from home and don't need to take the console access or go on the specific IP. It is very easy to manage the access points. The product has a user friendly dashboard with all the options and features.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It's a good solution for small businesses because it's easy to figure out."
"The deployment is easy."
"The installation is very simple. We've limited the security feature, which I found valuable, and that allows two separate networks, one for the company and one for a guest network. During installation, it is very easy at that point to divide it."
"Aruba Instant is very useful; even if you just have one device you can create a larger network with just a few configurations and you don't have to deal with licenses."
"The access it grants to wifi is the solution's most valuable feature."
"It's practical. It does what it needs to do."
"The product is easy to configure."
"I have found the features in Aruba Instant to be better than in SEIM or Cisco."
"Very easy to use and can be managed remotely."
"I like the ease of use this product offers; you can manage it from home and don't need to take the console access or go on the specific IP."

Cons

"The management interface in Aruba Instant Management is Aruba AirWave, in my opinion, it is not very user-friendly."
"The Central cloud management (optional) is far behind the competition in features, ease of use, and dependability. I have tried Aruba Central a few times over the years and, in my option, it is not where it needs to be for serious consideration in production environments."
"The product’s GUI must be improved."
"There is a scope for improvement in pricing for Aruba Instant products."
"They could offer a new model for access points that are outdoors."
"If you need to access the master access point the integration between the two becomes quite expensive."
"The product can be improved by adding a clear interface."
"The meshing could use improvement but aside from that nothing else really needs improvement."
"We had some issues integrating with the cloud which was problematic."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Avoid the Central cloud license if you can."
"We only pay for the support and the contract licenses from Aruba Instant."
"I would rate the pricing a five out of ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive."
"I rate the product's price a five on a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive."
"Aruba Instant is affordable."
"I rate the product’s pricing a two out of ten."
"It is not expensive. Its price is fair. You get many features with the normal licensing. If I look at Cisco, it is very expensive if I need similar things."
"The tool's pricing is neither cheap nor expensive."
