Has supported mid-market deployments with cloud-based centralized management and reliable wireless performance
I faced challenges earlier with a limitation of 50 APs in single sites, but that has enhanced to 100 numbers, eliminating that challenge for Aruba Instant On team. Additionally, some features are not listed in the cloud management platform and still require offline access, so enhancing the cloud management features would be better for us.

Extremely easy management of access points; user friendly dashboard
I like the ease of use this product offers; you can manage it from home and don't need to take the console access or go on the specific IP. It is very easy to manage the access points. The product has a user friendly dashboard with all the options and features.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature of Aruba Instant is its cloud capability, which allows us to manage it through the cloud."
"The products offer a lot of flexibility. Almost everything can be configured. It works very well for providing remote services."
"Has many advanced features: Built-in firewall, local radius, application visibility and control, not locked into support agreements."
"Aruba is a great product, I've used it for a couple of years and it's been working well."
"Aruba provides a cheap and good solution."
"Aruba Instant Management is really pretty flexible because of the versatility of the configuration and it just works very well for our purposes."
"The scalability of the solution is excellent."
"Aruba Instant is cloud-based, and thus, it improves wireless network performance on cloud platforms. The solution allows network monitoring through devices like mobiles and desktops, which is a feasible option. The tool also has Bluetooth settings so a user can deploy Aruba Instant through a serial number or the Bluetooth option."
"I like the ease of use this product offers; you can manage it from home and don't need to take the console access or go on the specific IP."
"Very easy to use and can be managed remotely."

Cons

"The restart time should be improved."
"The product is a little expensive."
"Technical support needs improvement. We use the forum for technical support assistance, but it's not enough. If you're talking with a technician, they're in India. They cannot give you the service that you need. Sometimes have problems with some personal services and technical support is not helpful in this area."
"The network planner could be improved. You should be able to import a floor plan, and the application should suggest the optimal placement of your devices."
"They should enhance reporting and add more features."
"The Central cloud management (optional) is far behind the competition in features, ease of use, and dependability. I have tried Aruba Central a few times over the years and, in my option, it is not where it needs to be for serious consideration in production environments."
"Aruba Instant should not have a limit on users for future releases."
"Doesn't support enough access points in one cluster."
"We had some issues integrating with the cloud which was problematic."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Some aspect of the price of Aruba Instant is very economical because if the customer is requiring more features the customer needs to pay a higher amount."
"I purchased the hardware and there are no monthly or yearly licenses to buy."
"The pricing is reasonable."
"I personally would rather pay that little bit more and get what I need because I know what I'm getting, as opposed to going for something cheaper that's not as manageable and doesn't give as much."
"The product is competitively priced"
"The solution's pricing is reasonable."
"Some in the hospitality industry use the solution because it's cheaper and doesn't require licenses."
"The product is reasonably priced."
