Has improved workflow automation and reduced manual tasks while offering room for simpler deployment
Azure Automation brings many benefits to my company and my customers' companies because many jobs can be converted automatically through an AI agent to complete tasks. PowerShell and Python scripting capabilities assist us significantly in developing tailored automation at 90% efficiency. I have utilized Azure Automation runbooks. We don't create new runbooks because some runbook templates simplify our business processes and tasks effectively.

Automation has transformed daily operations and now delivers faster, more accurate data flows
The best features in SnapLogic are the drag-and-drop interface which makes it easy to build data and application flows. No heavy coding is required, making it ideal for both technical and non-technical users. SnapLogic also offers pre-built snaps, real-time and batch processing, API management and integration, cloud and hybrid support, dashboarding and monitoring, error handling and retry mechanisms, scalability, security and governance, and transformation capabilities with built-in functions to clean and transform data, expressions, aggregations, and mappings. SnapLogic offers auto-mapping and smart schema detection as additional features. SnapLogic can detect schemas automatically, which helps when sources evolve or change, and this matters because there is less manual mapping work.

Pros

"Azure Automation brings many benefits to my company and my customers' companies because many jobs can be converted automatically through an AI agent to complete tasks."
"The most valuable feature of Azure Automation is the scripting."
"The most valuable part of Azure Automation is that it is a platform providing features that can be custom-used, with very wide functionalities, and the user-friendly nature and available technology can be simply applied to different technologies."
"The best features of Azure Automation help us automate tasks for the customer and eliminate a significant amount of manual work."
"The solution is easy to implement and easy to use. It's basically just drag and drop."
"SnapLogic is an IPA tool that leverages a low code environment to connect to multiple sources, extract data, and store it in Azure data lake."
"If a company needs to use SnapLogic, first they need to consider why they need it, and if you have all your applications moving from on-premise to cloud migration, this is one of the best tools for that."
"It is a stable solution."
"SnapLogic is a great platform for establishing integrations among various systems or patterns by using any kind of interface. If something is not supported by predefined snaps – snaps are connectors in SnapLogic – you can create them (custom snaps) or write a script."
"You can use other languages, such as Python, and easily connect to other systems."
"What I found most valuable in SnapLogic is the ETL feature, particularly the Transform Snap Pack, for example, any kind of reading or writing on Transform Snaps. Other than that, all the third-party connectivity tools such as the SAP Snap Pack, Salesforce Snap Pack, Workday Snap Pack, even the ServiceNow Snap Pack, I find all those are pretty useful in SnapLogic."
"Due to this automation, I see better results compared to the manual ones because the logic I have added to the automation is more specific and more static."

Cons

"Sometimes when integrating with third-party tools, we cannot find the proper API and must perform manual work, which requires additional development on our end."
"The solution’s user interface could be improved."
"Deployment with Azure Automation can be challenging at times, though sometimes it is very easy."
"Connecting to data behind enterprise firewalls has been tricky, but for reasons that SnapLogic cannot always control."
"We won't get help from technical support."
"The biggest issue we have faced in our company with SnapLogic is regarding the EDI format"
"We'd like there to be more ways for users to get more comfortable and have more experience with the solution to make it easier to use."
"I would like to see more performance-related dashboards, ones that display the cost of a pipeline, for instance. Also, it would be helpful to have management dashboards for overseeing pipelines and connections."
"They should expand in terms of features for SaaS-based market requirements in different sectors."
"The problem is that SnapLogic doesn't offer a wide variety of connectors. For example, integrating with Salesforce is not that easy."
"There is room for improvement of API management and the dashboard for task execution."
