Facilitates process integration across departments but requires better pricing and broader feature adoption
The most valuable features I find in Oracle BPM include a unified process management platform, human workflow management, and process simulation and optimization. I see that it is integrated with other ERPs. If you integrate it with human HRMS workflow management, then it will provide integration with HRMS for Oracle E-Business Suite and for process analytics and business.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The biggest benefit of using the product is identifying the issues, enabling a more flexible working method."
"Overall, it is a very good platform."
"Oracle BPM is easy to use for both the business and developers, and Oracle BPM's tool for service and application integration is the best on the market to accomplish this."
"We selected this product not only for the BPM but for the entire package, including the Utilities Stack with out-of-the-box implementations for utility business and utility domains that we could customize instead of building a complete solution from scratch."
"The Workspace is a full, rich application where most users can find what they want. It shows them a list of their work."
"The processor management system is quite fast and scalable. We have 10 developers using this solution and it supports 25,000 users."
"I find the data lineage features most valuable."
"Oracle BPM provides a good return on investment, and most customers see benefits within six months to a year."
"This solution has given us a quick time to market, the ability to integrate with the rest of the corporate applications, and the ability to hire talent in low-cost locations."

Cons

"The platform's initial setup process could be better."
"The time it takes to get from deployment to production could be faster."
"The technical support for Oracle BPM isn't very good. You'll face a lot of challenges with support."
"Their Case Management set of features is severely lacking and should be a target for immediate improvement dealing with unpredictable processes inside of organizations."
"Oracle BPM could probably be improved with respect to the cost. When you are using this product, it'll be a bit costlier for the ROA. I think they should do some discounts on these products, especially for the licenses."
"Most of the time, we need to restart the server because of some kind of error, such as a memory problem."
"The overall pricing of the product is around $1,000 per user, or the licensing of Oracle BPM will cost around $50,000 plus."
"Oracle BPM should ensure its product is aligned with current technology by keeping up with advancements like AI."
"Existing APIs in the product need to be fine-tuned, made more robust and flexible for adoption."

"It's pried high, this solution is expensive."
"As with all Oracle products, the licensing over VMware is an issue."

"This solution is very expensive. You are charged per license and an additional 20% for support."
"I don't have information on the exact cost of Oracle BPM because a different team handles that, but it's pretty high. Oracle products are very costly. I would rate pricing for Oracle BPM three out of five. Though the pricing is high, the solution has a lot of features."

"The licensing model is good."
"The licensing for this product is very costly. We pay for a yearly license to use Oracle BPM."
