Gives us one repository for various output formats and retention periods
A common theme with all CA products is they state compatibility with new technologies when it has not yet been proven. Much like other technology companies that have fallen into this trap, let feature and compatibly releases be controlled by the technical group, instead of the marketing and/or management people. I cite the example that CA mainframe products were deemed to be compatible with Extended Address Volumes (EAV) - larger sized disk volumes - when they were not. I have been doing this for 37 years and see it all too often, sometimes to the detriment of the company itself (Storage Technology Corp. and its Iceberg array comes to mind).

Unified finance dashboards have accelerated data-driven decisions and improved forecasting
The best features Sisense offers include that it is fast due to its In-Chip methodology. It uses great visualization. BI becomes easy with Sisense. Millions of data can be loaded in a few seconds, which did not seem possible with other traditional reporting tools. It has a robust architecture and provides REST APIs to access it externally. That speed impacts my workflow significantly as it represents the greatest step and latest in the business intelligence market. It provides In-Chip technology for accessing millions of data in the shortest span of seconds and provides the best visual efforts for our business data to make data-driven decisions easily. Sisense has positively impacted my organization as it reduces the time it takes to obtain an optimal return on investments. It delivers the instant analysis required to merge our financial numbers and statistics with a pretty accurate dashboard landscape. Hence, we are able to make data-driven decisions easily. Sisense has improved our decision-making speed and saved my team, especially the data team, time. They are able to focus on more strategic other tasks because Sisense has done the work of providing analytics and deep insights where we are able to make data-driven analytics easily.

Cons

"A common theme with all CA products is they state compatibility with new technologies when it has not yet been proven. I cite the example that CA mainframe products were deemed to be compatible with Extended Address Volumes (EAV) - larger sized disk volumes - when they were not."
"Needs ability to allow export to xls/pdf, etc. (Note: this is available in add-on product CA – OM Web Viewer)."
"I work with the developers so I get what I want built into the project."
"The solution's setup process could be easier."
"Sisense's scalability is tricky; I would like to see more infra-scaling functionality for effective injection capacity and DR functionality."
"The document is definitely a sore spot as well as the limited inner join functionality of the cubes."
"Sisense has some limitations, especially in rendering tables or graphs. For example, if you want to perform custom sorting or searching based on multiple columns, that becomes quite tricky."
"They should improve the filters to create downloaded data by moving them to the top of the dashboard."
"The only thing I am missing is the option to plug in any data from any source easily since Sisense only offers a limited amount of supported data providers."
"Some have outright rejected it due to lacking visualization and readouts."
"Sisense has no native support for week as a data dimension, which is a major issue for us."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Pricing is reasonable, licensing model suitable for large enterprises."
"Compared to Power BI or Tableau, Sisense is much more expensive."
