Cloud security has improved remote access and has reduced costs for smaller client sites
I have used Cloudflare One's Identity-Aware Proxy, and it is quite straightforward from what I have seen so far. The app registration on the Azure side integrates fully into Cloudflare, and I am very satisfied with that part because it is easy to set up. The integration of Cloudflare One's Secure Web Gateway and Zero Trust Network Access works without any issues. That part is pretty automatic, and if you complete the rest of the setup, it comes together by itself with no issues from my side. What makes it nice is that we can actually start replacing on-site firewalls at this stage for the smaller clients because it does not matter if they go to a coffee shop or work from home; they are still secured by the same connection. The hops get shorter and you get better latency. We have done testing to see if it is better. One thing that we did notice with our proof of concept with our current client is that they have people connecting from the UK. When they used their previous VPN solution, uploading CAD drawings and other files to the server took a long time. They mentioned that it is much quicker on Cloudflare One's solution. I definitely believe that is part of the improved performance, and I am satisfied with that as well. What is nice about Cloudflare One is that it makes the setup easier and also easier to train technicians to maintain it. Compared to legacy systems, we do not need to get fancy firewalls in place that are costly. That is definitely also a cost-saver with Cloudflare One.

Email protection has stopped phishing and secured cloud collaboration across all devices
Deployment is very easy since it is API based and does not require any harsh configuration. The DMARC management and DMARC forensic is the best feature. Their security engine provides everything such as DLP and encryption. Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration provides almost 100% security for phishing emails. Their DMARC management is very standard compared with any other brand or any other email security provider. The best thing is that on a single tenant I can manage multiple services such as Harmony Endpoint, Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration, Harmony Browser, mobile security, EDR, XDR, which is endpoint security, and SaaS. All of these services have a single dashboard. When giving security to email, in Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration, I do not need to change any MX record or any DNS entry changes. I simply add one text record for DMARC and no changes are needed in the MX record of that particular domain. This is very easy because Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration is in the tenant of Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace only. Check Point works on zero trust network technology. They are not only giving a feature of artificial intelligence but also machine learning summary. Machine learning summary is also given when they catch any kind of incidents such as phishing attacks, malware attacks, and ransomware attacks. They always provide real-time alerts for that. Real-time URL analysis is provided for phishing links and all these things. It gives 100% output for that and shows the source from where the malicious URL comes from. Additionally, they always provide threat emulation. This means the simulation of what danger happens when I click that particular URL is also provided in their report. It gives 100% protection to all BYOD devices. For example, one single Microsoft 365 account can be configured on different five devices. Many companies give email access to their employees on their mobile as well. In that case, if any malicious file is on the mobile and the employee would like to save it on OneDrive, due to this security, the user and administrator will get a real-time alert that this file is malicious and cannot be uploaded to OneDrive. This not only saves money but also saves time and prevents the organization from such cyber attacks.

Quarantine workflows have shifted risk to business and provide strong PII protection across channels
Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention can be improved because the options nowadays involve the use of AI. The approach of Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is still very traditional, where I have to create the policy for each and everything. The AI component is missing in Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention, where based on user behavior analytics, it could give us suggestions. This type of improvement is needed in Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention. Additionally, the hardware costing goes up when it comes to Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention because it requires large resources in the implementation part. Not regarding the user interface, but nowadays other DLP solutions have come up with the CASB part and the SaaS platform they are providing. Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is still lagging there, and I have to rely on the on-premises setups. The management part has been difficult as I have to patch the servers, restart them, and regularly take backups. These are a few tedious things that I have to do while managing Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention. This part also needs to be improved in Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Enables me to work from two locations."
"It's the endpoint exposition. We don't need to expose our VPN server to the internet and need a zero-test solution. I can apply some conditional access to the endpoint that's connecting to our network to check their security policies or the security condition of their workstation. Once the workstation is trying to connect to my internal network, then I would like to check the discrete condition of these endpoints that are trying to access my internal network. We created some conditional access. We have CrowdStrike, to check if the CrowdStrike is installed, to check if it's updated, and to check for Windows updates. We created some conditional policies to check it."
"The best feature is rate limiting. If I'm expecting 500 visits per hour, Cloudflare will limit the requests if I suddenly get 50,000."
"Using Cloudflare One makes my work quite easy because for DDoS protection, all I need to do is understand the OSI model and click; it makes it easier than trying to write a command line or use a Linux command."
"Cloudflare is by far the most effective solution that I have come across."
"The capabilities of the software are strong enough for me to do what it's supposed to do. For me, we don't need to do a lot of configuration on our site. We just enable it and monitor it."
"It will take the blow rather than our applications should an attack occur."
"Cloudflare One has assisted in securing my remote workforce through a SASE solution with Cloudflare One and the Workers part, although I am not currently using the Workers component."
"The program has a nice interface and it is easy to use."
"For us, I prefer Check Point before Palo Alto and before other brands because Check Point is most effective in attack mitigation and attack detection."
"It is fast and quite effective in terms of preventing any security incidents."
"As a comprehensive solution, Check Point offers a very granular and best-in-class experience."
"Because of its features and abilities, it has saved us from a lot of possible breaches."
"I appreciate the ease of deployment and the intuitive dashboard. Even someone with basic IT knowledge can easily understand the dashboard and identify potential threats."
"The advanced phishing protection is proactive in catching threats before users even see them; it does not just block obvious spam, it can spot subtle impersonation attempts and suspicious links that appear legitimate at first glance."
"We are able to protect sensitive business data and maintain regulatory compliance with advanced data leak prevention (DLP)."
"We appreciate the user-friendliness and ease of implementation of the Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention platform. The availability of the vendor support team is an added advantage."
"With OCR and Risk Analysis, we are able to determine if anything sensitive is been shared. OCR helps us to safeguard those things and with risk ranking, we can determine which user is trying to violate policies multiple times even though they have been blocked to him or her."
"Incident remediation is awesome in Forcepoint."
"Regardless of the size of your company, this solution can be scaled accurately."
"I prefer Forcepoint for data discovery and data loss prevention."
"The scalability is fantastic. One of the things that I like about Forcepoint is that I can customize the solution to suit my objectives."
"It was mostly stable."
"I like the SaaS solution they're offering now a little bit more. It's a new product but it's easy to install and configure."

Cons

"They don't have a person to provide support for customers using the solution under their free plan."
"Feedback could be enhanced."
"The initial onboarding was causing us some confusion."
"When there are any dynamic changes in complex applications, the tool takes a lot of time, making its analytics-related area a major matter of concern where improvements are needed."
"Operating and tuning the product is difficult."
"The pricing is an area that can be improved. Pricing, as far as I recall, was the source of our problems."
"The response time for support must be reduced."
"Feedback could be enhanced. While I work efficiently with Clover as a partner in Mexico City, sometimes the information and requests are easier to manage with more concrete solutions."
"Currently, Check Point HEC supports only Microsoft Office 365 and Google Sheets. In today's world, some clients are using old email service provider solutions, so it would be better if HEC also provides support for third-party email service solutions, such as IBM HCL Notes, creating more opportunities."
"Some files are not scanned thoroughly due to occasional network failures."
"At this time, the two-factor authentication does not work for Active Directory."
"There are a few areas for improvement. One is the occasional sluggishness or latency, which is likely due to the cloud-based nature of the solution. So, the performance can be better."
"I would rate the customer support a four, maximum, because I have had to reach out to them, and it wasn't great. I ended up with a technician that didn't actually know how to resolve the issue and was just doing basic level one troubleshooting, so it was very time-consuming to work with them."
"The implementation could definitely be better."
"From time to time, the system's administrators notice the increase in the false-positive alerts being reported by CloudGuard SaaS."
"The NAVEX metrics that I have been using on the CloudGuard dashboard cannot be exported. If they were to add report exporting capabilities on each of metric objects on the dashboard, that would be awesome."
"When we integrate with Forcepoint SSE product, a few classifiers cannot be matched as per customer's expectations and customizable workflows can be an added advantage."
"Technical support needs improvement. There are long stretches of time between queries and responses."
"Their discovery or the way they discover the data at risk can also be improved. There are many database servers that are not supported by Forcepoint."
"The tool needs to integrate data classification."
"The main challenge is the solution's high cost. Additionally, there is no discount for bulk purchases, making it difficult to get budget approvals."
"Improvement in Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention, especially when applying a positive DLP approach, needs to focus on decreasing false positive incidents."
"The protection of personal data needs to be improved."
"Overall, Forcepoint support is not very good."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Cloudflare Zero Trust Platform's pricing is good."
"The solution's pricing lacks transparency."
"The solution is not that expensive."
"My company has to make yearly payments towards the licensing costs attached to the solution. There are no hidden charges apart from the licensing costs of the solution."
"The pricing of the solution is cheap. The licensing cost is also very low. I rate the cost and pricing a three out of ten."
"The price tag is no longer $200,000, but rather $300,000 to $400,000. It's twice."
"The pricing is somewhere in the middle. I would rate the pricing a seven out of ten."
"The prices are slightly expensive."
"The price is very good, based on what they deliver."
"Due to its pricing, I would say that Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration is more suitable for medium to enterprise organizations."
"The product is expensive."
"You can get CloudGuard as part of Infinity. When you do the solution through Infinity, it's a per user type of license cost."
"I rate the platform’s pricing a seven and a half."
"Usually, we pay for the licensing part on a yearly basis and not on a monthly basis. If Check Point's team is providing a good amount of discount, then it is very easy for us to select it since its competitors are also giving the best prices or best discounts."
"Cost is the main concern that every customer takes into consideration, and Check Point always negotiates a price that is affordable."
"The pricing is expensive."
"Pricing for this solution could be better."
"One feature that I'm getting ready to take advantage of more is the ability to add more data crawlers to the DLP on-prem environment, without any extra Forcepoint costs or licensing needed for that additional data server. That will help in reducing the stress on the data server that we're using now."
"I prefer Forceoint because it is cheaper than Symantec."
"The pricing and licensing are okay."
"I rate the tool's pricing a six out of ten."
"It's not the cheapest solution but it's not the most expensive. It's a good price for a good product."
"This solution is quite expensive."
"The pricing for Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is more expensive than Symantec, but it's negotiable. It depends on how well you negotiate. The solution is worth the money, though, based on the services and facilities it provides to my company."
