7.1
Check Point Harmony Email support is effective but needs to improve response speed during critical situations and regionally.
Sentiment score
6.4
Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention's customer service is inconsistent, with varying support experiences and ratings between six and nine out of ten.
This would help us address issues promptly, especially during unforeseen events like DDoS attacks.
Cloudflare does not offer hands-on technical support to fix customer problems but rather a self-service model.
We'd like a dedicated account manager.
Customer support is of high quality.
Support issues exist with the Check Point company itself, not necessarily the product.
I would rate customer support eight out of ten.
They conduct sessions to check logs and policies, unlike Symantec, where engineers may temporarily check and ask for logs, causing delays.

Scalability Issues

I rate the scalability a ten out of ten.
It is a SaaS tool, but the fact that they have workloads deployed across the world proves that it is a highly scalable tool.
I would rate the scalability of Check Point Harmony Email and Collaboration as nine out of ten, indicating high scalability.
Scalability is limited, being only integrated with Microsoft Office 365 and G Suite at present.

Sentiment score
7.5
Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is stable with minimal downtime, though upgrade challenges and some reporting issues are noted.
For DDoS protection, I would not recommend Cloudflare.
I rate the solution’s stability an eight out of ten.
The service is very stable with no impacts during high-traffic periods.

Room For Improvement

Cloudflare needs analytics, threat insights, improved support, user-friendly dashboards, and simplified pricing, with consistent caching and security features.
Check Point Harmony needs better integration, support, performance, and features, with enhanced documentation and pricing considerations for users.
Forcepoint DLP requires improved integration, data classification, UI, support, cloud options, resource efficiency, and better multilingual, AI, and macOS support.
There's a need for improvement in areas like AI-based DDoS attacks and Layer 7 WAF features.
Despite these challenges, overall, Cloudflare remains the preferred solution compared to Azure, AWS CloudFront, and Google Cloud Armor.
In future releases, one thing that would be great is if Cloudflare could provide basic WAF rules and security recommendations based on website scanning.
Updates based on AI and reduced administrative overhead by adding or bulk adding new users, along with graphical enhancements to the GUI, would also be beneficial.
Check Point should integrate with features available in Barracuda - like more advanced threat management.
While Forcepoint is mostly on-premises, I suggest that to compete with Symantec, they should consider cloud solutions.

Setup Cost

Cloudflare offers flexible pricing with plans for small businesses to enterprises, balancing cost with comprehensive features and protection.

Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration provides competitive, flexible pricing, appreciated for its comprehensive features and ease of setup.

Forcepoint DLP offers flexible pricing with negotiable discounts, balancing robust features and cost-effectiveness for enterprises.
That's where Cloudflare shines for smaller businesses – it's ten times cheaper than Akamai.
I find it to be cheap.
It's cost-effective, but I think they should have a custom pricing model for enterprise customers based on the features you use.
Pricing is a bit expensive, but it is worth it considering the features that Check Point provides.
I consider the pricing to be a bit expensive, similar to other solutions.
The pricing is lower compared to what I used before.
The pricing is reasonable and medium, not very low, but fair for the product offered.

Valuable Features

Cloudflare offers caching, DDoS protection, and CDN services, enhancing website speed and security with intuitive interface and global reach.
Check Point Harmony excels in phishing detection, seamless cloud integration, and enhances security with AI, reducing data breach risks.
Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention offers user-friendly integration, robust reporting, and AI-driven protection across endpoints, networks, and cloud applications.
Our scenario consisted of two web servers in different allocations to control access demands, and the load balancer did the job as expected, bringing security and stability to access points.
For me, the valuable feature is DDoS protection.
The most valuable features of the solution are performance and security.
The most valuable feature is spam detection and phishing site prevention, which Microsoft couldn't catch, yet Check Point does.
Check Point Harmony Email and Collaboration offers online support and has tight integration with Microsoft.
The protection and scanning of emails are also appreciated, as they secure everything in the email spectrum.
It provides multiple customization options for policies, which makes it superior to Symantec.

It's easy to set up because you point the DNS to it, and it's working in under 15 minutes
Cloudflare is highly scalable. Cloudflare is a system with a web portal that the end users like me see. It's a console where we can adjust the DNS, caching, and security features all in that console. Cloudflare owns thousands of servers across the world that cache the data. It's a powerful solution. When clients sign up for Cloudflare, they're getting this monster content delivery network, security, and a web application firewall in one. It's all rolled into one, and it's massive. Unless you have your website hosted on a massive hosting provider, there's no way that you can deliver the amount of data that Cloudflare can provide to the end users. If you have static content, there's no way that you can ever match what Cloudflare can do. Obviously, there are competitors to Cloudflare that do the same, but I'm saying other types of solutions. Let's say you go with F5. Great, that's on-prem. That's in your colo. You can't deliver as much data to the internet as you can with a CDN. You don't have to spend $20,000 on a net scaler, F5, or whatever Cisco's selling now. You don't have to buy that. You pay them $50 a month or $150 a month. It's totally worth it because even in five years, you'll never get the performance value, not just the actual ROI. You have to consider how much throughput you can get with Cloudflare.

Provides excellent endpoint security in a feature-rich, lightweight, handy, and easy-to-deploy tool
The deployment is straightforward once you understand the solution's architecture. A proper understanding of the different components of Forcepoint DLP is essential, as deploying an enterprise-level DLP could be confusing because the policy server is separate from the main engine sitting on the Triton server. Understanding the components of the enterprise DLP suite is the most critical element for a successful deployment. Still, I rate the solution seven out of ten in terms of ease of setup. The scale of the particular DLP deployment is also a factor; we had cases where the customer only required endpoint or network DLP, a relatively quick job that two staff can complete. A complete DLP suite, including email, web, and network DLP, plus data classification and labelling, would require four associates. Our most recent deployment was a complete enterprise DLP, which required four staff. The entire deployment took almost three months, including a one-month planning phase. During the planning phase, we prepared the documentation, designed the HLDs and LLDs, and high and low-level diagrams. Following acceptance from the customer, we started the implementation, which took roughly 50 to 60 days. The level of maintenance required depends on how many events per hour a particular tool is putting out. If a customer wants to check analytics or identify an email or data leak, that situation doesn't require much policy fine-tuning, and a single staff member could deal with it. The customer can also decide what coverage they want, which may be 24/7, an admin to monitor events only, or Monday-to-Friday support. The coverage determines how many engineers will be required. Another factor in maintenance requirements is the volume of events, as an extensive client could have more than 10,000 servers with many sensitive data in motion. The customer had 24,000 users for our last deployment, and there wasn't a dedicated team for the DLP. The engineering team took care of the network, endpoint, and data security together. There were ten of us on the team, with two engineers per shift for 24/7 coverage.
