Zero trust architecture strengthens security with seamless login experiences and reliable global access
The solution requires proper configuration and policy enforcement to avoid excessive access restrictions. Some applications may need additional integration efforts for seamless access, and I may face restrictions if device posture fails compliance checks. The licensing cost could be higher compared to traditional VPN solutions, and advanced features may require premium tiers and add-ons. Initial setup and policy tuning can be complex, especially in large environments.

Endpoint protection has prevented attacks and keeps our daily work productive and secure
I rate Intercept X Endpoint a 10 out of 10 because it is working very fine for my environment and has prevented loss of productivity. I choose 10 out of 10 because Intercept X Endpoint protects my environment well, featuring web control, peripheral control, Threat Analysis Center, application control, and DLP alongside being accessible from cloud services. I advise others looking into using Intercept X Endpoint to choose Sophos for a cloud solution due to its AI and behavior-based detection capabilities. I believe Intercept X Endpoint is the best EDR solution, and I would always recommend it to customers because it is very effective. My overall review rating for Intercept X Endpoint is 10 out of 10.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Virtual desktops and virtual apps are most valuable."
"The convenience of being able to work from home is most valuable; it is not really different from working in the office, it is easy and simple, and it has got an easy interface."
"It is easy and simple, and it has got an easy interface. It is not hard to learn. With just three clicks, you log in, and you're there."
"It provided us the same experience anywhere on any device."
"The most valuable feature of Citrix Secure Private Access is its Zero Trust architecture, which enhances security by granting access based on identity and device posture."
"We have found the pricing to be reasonable."
"The solution is easy to install."
"The Managed Detection and Response service provided by Intercept X Endpoint is highly valuable. With a team of 600-700 individuals monitoring systems, they swiftly respond to attacks, either informing us to isolate or directly removing threats. This full MDR service is especially recommended for sectors like finance, where data security is critical. The deep learning technology within Intercept X Endpoint enhances our security posture by analyzing behaviors and algorithms to differentiate between legitimate users and threats, effectively preventing attacks on our network infrastructure."
"It is very easy to set up and easy to use, it is also not resource-intensive, has been very stable, and has done a good job of stopping and preventing different threats from being triggered."
"One of the best use cases involves synchronized security staff, which allows us to manage both the firewall and the anti-virus features from the cloud."
"Malware protection and application blocking are absolutely great."
"After that, the client switched to Sophos to get the protection they lacked. It either works or it doesn’t and Sophos works."
"Solution for endpoint detection and response, with good stability and scalability, and users also benefit from email protection and data loss prevention."

Cons

"When we go to print, we have to go through secure print. The secure printing kind of takes a while. It is a little latent."
"INGPU for engineering software is an area of improvement. There should be better licensing options."
"The licensing cost could be higher compared to traditional VPN solutions, and advanced features may require premium tiers and add-ons."
"The first setup is not very straightforward and requires a lot of expertise."
"There are not any solutions that are a 10 out of 10. A 10 would be perfect protection with no impact on the performance of the device. This is not the case, there is some impact on the performance of the device."
"I am not very satisfied with the product's reporting overall, and it needs improvement in this area."
"The detection and the AI capabilities should be improved upon."
"I'm not clear on what features need improvement. Everything is mostly fine."
"Through Sophos Central I would like to see the ability to zero in and produce a report about the challenges being faced by a particular machine and user, to know if a virus is appearing only on that specific machine or also on others."
"It should offer better security updates."
"Intercept X Endpoint is a very heavy solution that consumes a lot of RAM and should be made lighter."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"There are costs in addition to the standard licensing fees. They should provide better licensing options."
"One can pay for the license annually, or at two and five year intervals."
"When you start going to the EDR technologies and the MTR, it is a little bit expensive. It's a very good technology, and obviously, you're going to pay for it, but the pricing could do a little bit of work."
"There is a yearly payment to be made. For each client, it costs around 15 dollars. There are no additional costs besides the licensing price we pay to use the solution."
"Its price is reasonable."
"The price of this product should be reduced because it is a little high."
"Licensing costs are not expensive."
"The product is moderately priced."
"Price-wise, it is good. Currently, we have a three-year plan."
