Logging and vector search have transformed observability and empowered reliable ai agents
Elastic Search is not specifically being used for certain purposes. I deploy Elastic Search database on the cloud and use cloud services so that nobody can attack. However, I do not use Elastic Search to resolve attack issues. The basic main purpose of Elastic Search, as of now, I feel it can do more in the AI area. Sometime I saw that when I am developing RAG and have to generate the embeddings, which I call metadata, sometimes it tries to fail. That durability or issue handling should be improved, but apart from that, I did not find anything as of now. As per my use case, whatever I am using seems pretty good. Apart from that, some definitely improvement will be there. One improvement is that it should be faster. Whenever I am searching any logs, it takes much time. For example, if I open my log in Notepad or a similar tool, I can search the text within a second. With Elastic Search, it takes a little bit of time, ten to fifteen seconds. That can be improved. Sometimes, engineers take time to assign when I create a ticket.

Higher conversion rates with an advanced algorithm and intuitive interface
An area for improvement is the interface language, as our team mainly speaks French. Offering a French-language option would significantly enhance accessibility and streamline usage. Additionally, simplifying interactions with the Luigi's Box team, such as through localized support or tools tailored to non-English-speaking users, would improve collaboration. These changes would ensure a more seamless integration of the solution into our daily operations.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"My favorite feature is the ease of use, particularly in how you integrate the agent; I've been using it since version 7, and we're on version 9 now, and I've seen the progress from using Beats to using the agent, making it so simple today to enroll a server with the Elastic Agent."
"The AI-based attribute tagging is a valuable feature."
"What I like the most about Elastic Search is that I can store my data and search throughout my document."
"Dashboard is very customizable."
"The solution is valuable for log analytics."
"A good use case is saving metadata of your systems for data cataloging. Various systems, like those opened in metadata and similar applications, use Elasticsearch to store their text data."
"From a technical point of view, there are no significant issues recalled as Elastic Search has been absolutely awesome for this use case and covers 100% of the needs."
"Elastic Search is the perfect tool for scalability."
"Its seamless integration with existing platforms streamlines workflows, making it an indispensable tool for businesses of all sizes."
"Luigi's Box was easy to implement and allowed me to get started quickly."
"Luigi's Box has brought substantial enhancements to our company, particularly by enriching the search experience on our website. Through its powerful search capabilities, our customers can effortlessly locate their desired products, resulting in heightened satisfaction and conversion rates."
"We value the smart search feature the most since it immediately offers relevant results to customers, even if they don't know the exact name of the product."
"With its advanced algorithm and intuitive interface, this tool makes setting up the product feed simple and efficient."
"Within the dashboard, the application offers data analysis that works with different views of the customer data. This data is graphically processed and thus does not need to be further modified for better interpretation."
"The most useful feature of the Luigi's Box product is the extensive analytics. We can see in beautiful graphs what exactly visitors to our e-shop searched for."
"Luigi's Box increased conversion rates and improved user experience on the website."

Cons

"I think Elastic Search could be improved by introducing more AI features, particularly for complex queries and aggregator functions to enhance usability and readability."
"In Elastic Search, the improvements I would like to see require many resources."
"It needs email notification, similar to what Logentries has. Because of the notification issue, we moved to Logentries, as it provides a simple way to receive notification whenever a server encounters an error or unexpected conditions (which we have defined using RegEx)."
"I want the solution to improve the graph feature because it is a little bit poor."
"Elasticsearch should have simpler commands for window filtering."
"The documentation regarding customization could be better."
"The solution's integration and configuration are not easy. Not many people know exactly what to do."
"I found an issue with Elasticsearch in terms of aggregation. They are good, yet the rules written for this are not really good."
"An area for improvement is the interface language, as our team mainly speaks French."
"Enhancing the reporting and analytics capabilities would provide us with deeper insights into user behavior and search trends, helping us optimize our offerings further."
"Deeper use of AI and ML - although with the advent of AI, new features have been implemented into Luigi's Box, there is still room for deeper integration."
"When setting up banner ads in the search window, it takes a long time for the banners to appear."
"We have been using the service for more than two years, and our experience is only positive."
"Integration with GA4 and a plugin integrating with Google Looker Studio would be very useful."
"Our products are really diverse. Not everything can be done automatically, and manual intervention is required."
"It could simplify the implementation on the website."
