Training has reduced phishing incidents and builds user responsibility across our clients
I can give you a quick specific example of how I use Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training with my clients or internally; we deploy it internally as well, as we are an IT company. It is really important that we ourselves and our engineers can spot the difference, because just because we are IT literate does not mean that we can always spot the difference. Or we can spot the difference, but the hesitation to click on something and just check what comes in matters. We have had customers experience significant breaches where they sent a lot of money or information or had loss of business due to these types of attacks. Avoiding that is where I would say we have had the most impact, seeing a reduction in those types of incidents happening. Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training has positively impacted my organization as we can see a decline from those clients with incidents regarding cybersecurity. There are a lot fewer tickets about suspicious emails, and a lot more of a positive understanding from users about what an attack looks like. In terms of tools for us, it helps our relationship with customers. We can send them reports that are good criteria and good information we can give them to show how we are protecting them. This adds value there. Using Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training alongside the other Huntress products, ITDR and EDR, is beneficial. It is a good product that is easy to deploy alongside them. I think the best feature of Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training is the fact that it runs itself. Many IT companies want to offer these services, but they do not really have experience or they do not have the time and energy to keep the quality going, or you do put the effort in and it becomes unprofitable. Huntress recommends the courses and sets the criteria for you and it can all be managed. I really appreciate how the emails come in and look current and realistic, not obvious spam. I appreciate that the course content will change depending on how much a user has failed. If they just clicked on the email or entered information, it will tell them what they can do better next time and give them extra training. You do not have to worry about that; it is all automatic. It is also made in such a way that it is keeping up to date, I believe with information from Huntress's SOC team. The up-to-date content reflects what people are seeing in the wild, so you know you are getting really new content.

Training program enables comprehensive security awareness and cautious email practices
One feature that would be highly beneficial in a future release is the ability to automatically send training articles or security tips to users on a regular, scheduled basis—for example, weekly or monthly. While the current training modules and phishing simulations are highly effective, ongoing awareness is equally important to keep security top of mind in day-to-day operations. These short, digestible articles or micro-learning content could cover recent phishing trends, real-world examples of security breaches, or quick tips on secure online behavior. Periodic delivery would serve as a continuous learning touchpoint, reinforcing key concepts from the main training and adapting to evolving threats. Ideally, this feature would also include personalization, allowing content to be tailored based on a user’s role, previous training performance, or common mistakes observed in phishing simulations. This kind of proactive, lightweight training approach could significantly enhance employee engagement with security practices and help maintain a strong security posture over time.

"I rate the solution nine out of ten."
"Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training has positively impacted my organization as we can see a decline from those clients with incidents regarding cybersecurity."
"The benefits I have seen from using KnowBe4 include that many people are now cautious."
"KnowBe4 has a lot of high-quality content, and their interface is very user-friendly."
"KnowBe4's formulas for risk reduction simply work. Being a technical company, our initial phish-prone percentage wasn't super high, but it was still around 18%. Since we have been requiring ongoing training and simulated phish testing, our average phish-prone percentage hovers in the 0 to 3% range now."
"KnowBe4 significantly enhanced people's awareness of cybersecurity threats within the company through its simulations that replicated real-world scenarios."
"The impact of KnowBe4's automated training campaigns on the overall cybersecurity posture is quite comprehensive because it covers everything from the very basics of cybersecurity to evolving and emerging threats."
"KnowBe4 has a training program that lasts approximately 15 or 30 minutes, and we provide this security training for our employees so they learn which emails they should open, which links they should click, which links they should not click, and which software they should install."
"It has helped us tremendously in cybersecurity awareness."
"The impact of KnowBe4's automated training campaigns on the overall cybersecurity posture is quite comprehensive because it covers everything from the very basics of cybersecurity to evolving and emerging threats."

Cons

"Some of the trainings can be quite silly, or I may not want to administer those trainings."
"It is somewhat confusing at first, especially for onboarding."
"Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training could be improved by varying the domains that you send from."
"It is somewhat confusing at first, especially for onboarding. The existing complexity is partly because the product wasn't built from the ground up by Huntress, which might contribute to certain elements lacking Huntress's typical simplicity."
"Enhancing the product's emotional intelligence, particularly by providing training content tailored to specific audiences, is an area for improvement."
"The training program is very interactive, but sometimes it is hard to follow the process, particularly the steps."
"Some courses have the same type of content, the same type of page. But not too much, I think some repeated content exists in multiple courses in KnowBe4."
"In terms of improvement, we would appreciate having the attachments or more details on the raw messages used in the PhishER site, as sometimes it can be a bit buggy."
"I feel that the marketing of KnowBe4 needs improvement because many people need to know more about the types of cyber securities that exist."
"I would like to see Novo4 expand to other channels outside of emails to things such as text messages."
"During the last downtime, it caused significant disruption as users couldn't access the system."
"It can be more interactive with users. We want to put the users in different scenarios and let them make decisions. For example, instead of making users go through a video and then asking questions, it can have a video where they click on the scenarios and have to make decisions. It can maybe have something like a live simulation. It would be nice for users."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"Licensing is paid on a yearly basis. You can go to the official site to check their approximate pricing. It's based on the number of users or staff. It can vary from country to country, but for Ukraine, it works as it's stated on the site."
"It's about five dollars a seat per month."
"I rate the product pricing as four out of ten."
"I don't know the cost, but I believe we are paying yearly. We did like a three-year or five-year contract. I am not aware of any extra costs in addition to a standard licensing fee."
