Influenced cost savings by approximately seventy to eighty percent
I have worked on multiple platforms in this space, like MuleSoft, Oracle, Intel, Microsoft, and Dell Boomi. However, Azure Logic Apps is the easiest and most transparent in terms of its operations, licensing cost, and scaling. Being in Azure, the use of the Azure ecosystem becomes quite native with Logic Apps.

Easy-to-use product with the ability to generate code efficiently
Talend's most valuable feature is its ability to generate code and packages efficiently. This feature streamlines the integration process, saving developers time and effort. Additionally, the stability of the generated code is noteworthy, as it ensures reliability over time. Despite not always producing the most aesthetically pleasing code, it eliminates critical errors, reducing the burden on developers. This stability is particularly crucial in complex integration scenarios, where errors can have significant consequences.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The product's initial setup phase is something that I don't think is complex because once we start using it, it becomes simple."
"It's quite similar to Power Optima, but I use it mainly to integrate with databases, and it works well for that purpose."
"It's easy to use, and it's stable."
"Connectors are very useful for streamlining data integration tasks."
"Its integration capabilities are great, allowing connectivity with various applications and services."
"What I found most valuable in Microsoft Azure Logic Apps is that you can run a workflow or do a high-level process orchestration, then you can call the other function and fulfill the process. For example, if you want to update a customer, you first need to get the customer's phone number and simulate the steps of the process, then Microsoft Azure Logic Apps can orchestrate that process."
"Azure Logic Apps has influenced cost savings by approximately seventy to eighty percent in many cases and is generally 30% to 40% cheaper than any comparable services in this space."
"I like the ability within Logic Apps to design the workbooks through the portal with minimal code."
"Talend's most valuable feature is its ability to generate code and packages efficiently."
"I'm very passionate about this solution because if you look at any other tool that costs around $200 - $300,000, like Delphix which costs you a million dollars, Talend is very cheap and is almost is at par with what others can do. There is one thing which Delphix does which Talend cannot do, but overall, I would say apart from that, if you're looking for a solution, you should give it a try."
"Talend Data integration has a wide library of connectors."
"The product's integration with PostgreSQL and Jira has been helpful for us. Its performance is good. However, we do not use it for large data sets."
"We have multiple use cases for this solution. We integrate with Salesforce, SAP and Oracle databases to build business logic and provide reporting."

Cons

"The business rules engine is still not fully developed, and it would be very helpful to see improvements here."
"It's for a limited kind of application or short Apps. And, not for the complex applications."
"The stability of Microsoft Azure Logic Apps is stable. However, we have had some issues in the past. They do resolve issues that arise from new releases."
"Microsoft Azure Logic Apps can improve by continually updating the connectors to make them better."
"The solution could add an AI version to make it easier for people."
"The standard logic app could be simplified. Thats what we would like to see in the next release."
"It would be beneficial to have less code and tighter integration between different cloud services."
"Microsoft Azure Logic Apps needs further development in consistency and durability, particularly for handling larger data volumes beyond 1 MB."
"The product's setup process could be simpler."
"The tool's technical support needs to be better. It doesn't have a local data center but pushes everything to the cloud. They need to check in with customers to see if they're happy and how well the solutions work. They need to assign a customer success manager for the accounts they sell."
"There are no concurrent licenses, they only have seat licenses on cloud. That's the whole challenge. For example, if in any project your headcount increases or decreases, you do not have that concurrence and you have a seat license, you run into challenges because you have to procure a few more licenses for getting the job done."
"Sometimes there are bugs which are unidentified and we have to follow-up with the Talend team to resolve them. In a critical situation, it takes time for them to update patches."
"Due to using the open-source version of Talend Data Integration, which lacks a scheduler, our current approach involves developing jobs in Talend, exporting them as Java packages, and utilizing an external scheduler, such as Windows Scheduler, to manage the scheduling process."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"In my experience, Microsoft Azure Logic Apps is not a cheap solution."
"The pricing is okay. It's not highly priced. It's in the medium range."
"The product is not cheap. I would rate the product's pricing a five out of ten."
"The licensing is cheaper because, compared to other services, Azure services are much cheaper and affordable."
"It's very cheap, but it comes with pluses and minuses. The positive thing is that it's very cheap, but on the other hand, it's extremely hard to tell how much it will cost. At the start of the project, it's almost impossible to tell how many times you will be calling some kind of Logic App function. You cannot state how much of the internet transfer you will use or how much data your will use."
"The product pricing aligns well with the value and capabilities offered by Azure services."
"The pricing is not expensive."
"I rate Microsoft Azure Logic Apps's pricing a seven out of ten."
"I have been using the open-source version."
"The product pricing is considered very good, especially compared to other data integration tools in the market."
