Streamlined workflows with drag and drop convenience but needs enhancements in AI
I use Machine Learning Studio for system reselling and integration Machine Learning Studio is easy to use, with a significant feature being the drag and drop interface that enhances workflow without any complaints. It provides a return on investment and cost savings, proving beneficial for…

Enables us to forecast and pull trends and has an easy installation
My rating for SAP Predictive Analytics would be an eight out of ten. If I have to be bold, I'll probably say that we're building away hours, and we are actually putting a lot of the actual predicting stuff back into the warehouse. So running it very bi-directionally. So I'm not sure what its integration features are at the moment, but that's an area we're going to look into in the next month or so.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Auto email and studio are great features."
"The notebook feature allows you to write inquiries and create dashboards. These dashboards can integrate with multiple databases, such as Excel, HANA, or SQL Server."
"Azure Machine Learning Studio provides a platform to integrate with large language models."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is the ability to use all of the cognitive services, prebuilt from Azure."
"The platform as a service provides user-friendly instruments, making the experience easy."
"Anyone who isn't a programmer his whole life can adopt it. All he needs is statistics and data analysis skills."
"It has helped in reducing the time involved for coding using R and/or Python."
"Their support is helpful."
"I think the features of the actual ability to forecast and pull trends and correlations has been really good."
"The most valuable features are the analytics and reporting."

Cons

"The price could be improved."
"The price of the solution has room for improvement."
"I have found Databricks is a better solution because it has a lot of different cluster choices and better integration with MLflow, which is much easier to handle in a machine learning system."
"The data cleaning functionality is something that could be better and needs to be improved."
"Stability-wise, you may face certain problems when you fail to refresh the data in the solution."
"The solution should be more customizable. There should be more algorithms."
"The product must improve its documentation."
"While ML Studio does give you the ability to run a lot of transformations, it struggles when the transformations are a bit more complex, when your entire process is transformation-heavy."
"This solution works for acquired data but not live, real-time data."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I rate the solution's pricing a four on a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive."
"On a scale from one to ten, with ten being overpriced, I would rate the price of this solution at six."
"It is less expensive than one of its competitors."
"To use MLS is fairly cheap. Even the paid account is something like $20/month, unless you are provisioning large numbers of VMs for a Hadoop cluster. The main MS makes money with this solution is forcing the user to deploy their model on REST API, and being charged each time the API is accessed. There are several pricing tiers for the API. If you do not use the API, then value of MLS is to create rapid experiments ($20/month). The resulting model is not exportable to use, thus you’ll have to recreate the algorithms in either R or Python, which is what I did. MLS results gave me a direction to work with, the actual work is mostly done in R and Python outside of MLS."
"My team didn't deal with the licensing for Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio, so I'm unable to comment on pricing, but the money that was spent on the tool was worth it."
"ML Studio's pricing becomes a numbers game."
"There is a license required for this solution."
"In terms of pricing, for any cloud solution, you should know the tricks of the trade and how to use it, otherwise, you'll end up paying a lot of money irrespective of the cloud provider, so at least for Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio pricing versus AWS, I would rate it three out of five, with one being the most expensive, and five being the cheapest. It could be cheaper, but you also have to be careful when choosing the plans, for example, consider the architecture and a lot of other factors before choosing your plan, if you don't want to end up paying more. If your cloud provider has an optimizer that seems to be available in every provider, that would keep alerting you in terms of resources not being used as much, then that would help you with budgeting."
"A free trial version is available for testing out this solution."
"The pricing is reasonable"
