Heat maps have guided user behavior insights but session replays still need more accurate rendering
The heat map functionality is very valuable. For example, in our application there is a search box where users write an address, and it searches at the state or city level. If there is a bug in our input box, it has very high critical severity. These are the things I use it for. I can also see in which state our application is used the most. We have 16 or 18 projects in our Meshvisor, and I can see which applications are used most by users. If an application is not valued by people, there is no need to dedicate much time to it.

Gain strategic insights with trend analysis but data collection practices can improve
I can see market share data for search engines and for browsers, and I can see this over time, how it develops, and also in different geographical regions. This is the Global Statistics feature, and it's the only feature I'm using with StatCounter. Because the data is pretty rare, there are not a lot of services that offer this data for free, and I can slice and dice it and then do with it whatever I need to do.

Pros

"I use Microsoft Clarity to watch these videos on a weekly basis to understand what users are experiencing."
"It has allowed us to understand certain trends and cut through the noise and the hype."

Cons

"Sometimes when I watch the videos, I can see that because of CSS issues, Microsoft Clarity is also showing some UI elements in incorrect places."
"Because their data collection practice is not perfect, it is biased towards smaller publishers, and that led to an issue recently where the data was wrong and they had to fix it."
