Built faster threat response and improved visibility with real-time monitoring and flexible deployment
TrendAI Vision One allows us to monitor attacks in real time, which is a significant benefit. We can quickly see where the attack is coming from. TrendAI Vision One enables us to use different products with a flexible license. For example, if a customer is using endpoint security and wants to switch to another solution, they can instantly use a different Trend Micro product, such as email. TrendAI Vision One has helped to reduce the time to detect and respond to different threats, as it can respond to attacks very quickly. With playbook templates, in cases of recurring attacks, responses can be made quickly using predefined playbooks. TrendAI Vision One has helped to reduce noise from false positives. There have been false positives before, but it was due to the customer not telling us which app they were using. Best practice configurations must be applied properly to avoid such issues. TrendAI Vision One helps customers consolidate the use of security vendors and reduce silos by offering one platform for all product management.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It seems to be better at protecting from cyberattacks."
"Microsoft External Attack Surface Management helps improve the visibility of my exposed vulnerabilities and provides an overview of my security posture across the globe."
"Microsoft External Attack Surface Management helps improve the visibility of my exposed vulnerabilities and provides an overview of my security posture across the globe."
"It is really straightforward, it is very easy to understand, and therefore, I highly recommend the solution."
"We've found the pricing to be reasonable."
"The automatic EDR system that notifies us when something is wrong is valuable."
"When we purchased Vision One, what set it apart was that it wasn't a traditional signature-based antivirus. It's a process-aware solution that provides real-time protection. That was a big differentiator three years ago, but now it's a given that every AV provider should be doing that. It combines signature-based telemetry with behavioral awareness and a detection-based solution, making it a good solution for us."
"Trend Vision One's most valuable feature is its endpoint firewall rules."
"Centralized visibility is valuable. We can view what kind of virus or threat exists, where it has traveled, and how it started. A security analyst can use just this one console to view all the information."
"TrendAI Vision One allows us to monitor attacks in real time, which is a significant benefit, and we can quickly see where the attack is coming from."
"It is so helpful to have something that pulls all the data into one visual representation of the events."

Cons

"Further integration across different Microsoft products would be an improvement."
"With Microsoft, support is always crazy, it's not easy to get support."
"The integration is not as seamless compared to competitors like Palo Alto."
"Trend Micro XDR is expensive, and you have to pay for it yearly."
"They need to modify their licensing mechanism and improve their AI-based detections."
"There are no specific missing features at the moment, though improvement is always possible in making things more intuitive and easier to use."
"Support is low. When we raise a ticket for P0 or P1, the response tends to be quite late."
"We do use the automation capability a little. However, we noticed some limitations, especially on the playbook side."
"The support has been delayed at times."
"Vision One's functional capabilities are excellent, but the platform can be upgraded and simplified in many ways. We use multiple playbooks to automate many things, but I'm not sure there are mature cybersecurity applications. There are several external alerts, and their behavior changes daily, so I'm not sure automation can help you that much. We're using the playbooks, but it might require some improvement."
"In future releases of Trend Vision One, I would like to see improvements regarding role-based access control, as it is important to ensure that when granting admin access to a person, their visibility is limited to only their respective markets. For example, while creating roles for countries like France, Germany, and Italy, they should only manage their own endpoints to maintain privacy and security."

"Trend Micro XDR is expensive but we got a good deal from Trend Micro."
"I find it to be a cost-efficient platform."
"The pricing is fair compared to other solutions."
"Trend Vision One offers a competitive price-to-value ratio."
"Trend Micro recently switched from a license-based pricing model to a credit system, which caused some initial frustration during my renewal."
