Built faster threat response and improved visibility with real-time monitoring and flexible deployment
TrendAI Vision One allows us to monitor attacks in real time, which is a significant benefit. We can quickly see where the attack is coming from. TrendAI Vision One enables us to use different products with a flexible license. For example, if a customer is using endpoint security and wants to switch to another solution, they can instantly use a different Trend Micro product, such as email. TrendAI Vision One has helped to reduce the time to detect and respond to different threats, as it can respond to attacks very quickly. With playbook templates, in cases of recurring attacks, responses can be made quickly using predefined playbooks. TrendAI Vision One has helped to reduce noise from false positives. There have been false positives before, but it was due to the customer not telling us which app they were using. Best practice configurations must be applied properly to avoid such issues. TrendAI Vision One helps customers consolidate the use of security vendors and reduce silos by offering one platform for all product management.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Microsoft External Attack Surface Management helps improve the visibility of my exposed vulnerabilities and provides an overview of my security posture across the globe."
"It seems to be better at protecting from cyberattacks."
"TrendAI Vision One allows us to monitor attacks in real time, which is a significant benefit, and we can quickly see where the attack is coming from."
"Trend Vision One helps reduce my mean time to detect and respond to threats as without it, we would be scrambling and confused with not much information to go off of for threat hunting."
"We had previously deployed on-premises, and all we had to do was access the designated console and click a button to migrate all on-premises agents to cloud agents."
"The most valuable feature is the network protection shield on every server, which isolates attacks and prevents our clients from being affected."
"TrendAI Vision One solves these problems by providing greater detection capabilities and automated response across all of these layers."
"Trend Vision One has improved the way our organization functions by acting as both a monitoring tool and an antivirus, giving us insight on potential threats and enhancing our response time to security incidents."
"The SOC team is the most valuable feature for us because having experts who monitor global threat landscapes and can respond accordingly is incredibly helpful."
"The best features TrendAI Vision One offers are the dashboard, reporting, and the customer service experience, specifically the customer service experience."

Cons

"Further integration across different Microsoft products would be an improvement."
"The integration is not as seamless compared to competitors like Palo Alto."
"With Microsoft, support is always crazy, it's not easy to get support."
"However, the area where it should improve is that it gets stuck. It does not have that much amount of data. It does not understand easily, and we have to explain it more."
"They need to modify their licensing mechanism and improve their AI-based detections."
"In terms of improving Trend Vision One, it might sound silly, yet it seems notoriously uncooperative with middle clicks and opening sections in new tabs. I'm a big tab browser, and it feels hitting a brick wall when I have to refresh in a new tab or make a copy of a tab to move forward."
"Trend Vision One has some usability issues."
"Also, XDR should improve its coverage of the latest IOCs. Their suspicious object management works, but the coverage should be improved. It will take one or two months to get those things covered. XDR will detect on a behavioral basis, but these databases will not get updated daily like some other solutions. If you're dealing with new ransomware or malware, it may take around a month before it's covered by Trend Micro."
"For XDR threat investigation, there is not enough documentation about how to search for different keywords. The documentation for keywords used in attack techniques is lacking, making it difficult to understand certain aspects."
"The automation capabilities on-premises could be improved, as we currently have to manually activate servers and push policies."
"They should increase their potential for third-party integrations."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"We have an annual subscription and I believe there is no option for monthly billing at the moment."
"Trend Vision One is an expensive product."
"From a pricing standpoint, they're a really good negotiator and they'll work with you."
"The solution is fairly priced."
"The pricing for Trend Vision One is reasonable."
"I do not have much visibility to it. It is definitely not a cheap product, but to my knowledge, it is out there with the big wigs in the industry, such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, and other EDR/XDR vendors. I had heard, and found out eventually, that their sales teams are very flexible, as more sales teams are."
"Trend Vision One is cost-effective because it offers detailed reporting and environment control features."
"Competitors offer comparable solutions at slightly lower prices, so Vision One has room to reduce its pricing by 15 percent, given that Trend Vision One charges approximately $10 per endpoint."
