Built faster threat response and improved visibility with real-time monitoring and flexible deployment
TrendAI Vision One allows us to monitor attacks in real time, which is a significant benefit. We can quickly see where the attack is coming from. TrendAI Vision One enables us to use different products with a flexible license. For example, if a customer is using endpoint security and wants to switch to another solution, they can instantly use a different Trend Micro product, such as email. TrendAI Vision One has helped to reduce the time to detect and respond to different threats, as it can respond to attacks very quickly. With playbook templates, in cases of recurring attacks, responses can be made quickly using predefined playbooks. TrendAI Vision One has helped to reduce noise from false positives. There have been false positives before, but it was due to the customer not telling us which app they were using. Best practice configurations must be applied properly to avoid such issues. TrendAI Vision One helps customers consolidate the use of security vendors and reduce silos by offering one platform for all product management.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Microsoft External Attack Surface Management helps improve the visibility of my exposed vulnerabilities and provides an overview of my security posture across the globe."
"It seems to be better at protecting from cyberattacks."
"The setup is fairly simple."
"The search features help us try to correlate information and identify any suspicious activity."
"I find the maps particularly helpful. The object list, specifically the suspicious object list, is also quite valuable. You can simply add one object to that list to manage it from another solution."
"The best part is the XDR threat investigation, which includes different modules like Observer Attack Techniques, Workbench, and Detection Model Manager."
"With Trend Vision One, my favorite feature is the app they provide; it simplifies things and clarifies what's going on inside your environment, with a click of a button, you can see what's happening and mitigate very fast."
"Trend Vision One has reduced the time we spend detecting and responding to threats; I'd say we're 80% faster than before."
"The visibility over everything—over all systems or network and security—has improved us massively."
"The most important thing for us as a customer is that we can spend more time in other places as it's simpler to have that overview. We have much more time for other tasks."

Cons

"Further integration across different Microsoft products would be an improvement."
"The integration is not as seamless compared to competitors like Palo Alto."
"With Microsoft, support is always crazy, it's not easy to get support."
"One area that has room for improvement is the interface of TrendAI Vision One, which is very slow due to its data center being based in America."
"Trend Vision One has some usability issues."
"To improve support, the company should streamline communication and reduce response times."
"In future releases of Trend Vision One, I would like to see improvements regarding role-based access control, as it is important to ensure that when granting admin access to a person, their visibility is limited to only their respective markets. For example, while creating roles for countries like France, Germany, and Italy, they should only manage their own endpoints to maintain privacy and security."
"I believe that the interface could be more user-friendly. At times, it is challenging to locate certain features, and they need to reorganize the user interfaces."
"I would rate their customer support a five out of ten. They sometimes do not give enough attention to the tickets."
"There are limitations in terms of threat response actions."
"While the continuous addition of features is commendable, the sheer volume of changes makes it difficult to stay abreast of the latest developments."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Competitors offer comparable solutions at slightly lower prices, so Vision One has room to reduce its pricing by 15 percent, given that Trend Vision One charges approximately $10 per endpoint."
"They've introduced a credit system, where we purchase credits and then allocate them to the specific services we need active."
"The pricing is fair and not on the higher side."
"The pricing is fair compared to other solutions."
"The pricing is competitive, and the cost aligns with the features we receive."
"While the pricing and licensing for Trend Vision One are generally acceptable, the need to purchase additional features separately adds complexity."
"It is definitely not cheap. I do believe you get what you pay for to some degree. It is cost-effective."
"Trend Micro XDR is reasonably priced for its value, comparable to other products like VMware Carbon Black."
