Has enabled seamless integration across platforms while supporting advanced analytics for customer insights
Microsoft Dynamics CRM doesn't provide solutions that allow you to transform easily if you have a heterogeneous mix of technologies or if your contact center is on analog and you try to digitize it. A lot of custom work is needed if you have to integrate heterogeneous technologies with the Microsoft suite, but if you are using the Microsoft suite, then it's quite seamless. Microsoft Dynamics CRM should add commercial models that allow smaller companies to use it because it can get pretty expensive. Better commercial options for smaller implementations may be helpful. There should be commercial options for smaller companies, as the overheads and costs of Dynamics can be quite high.

A modular, easy-to-use solution that needs to improve support and include automation
There are one or two annoying things. For example, if you make a drop-down list of something, it doesn't automatically alphabetize the drop-down list. You have to manually go and drag items up and down and alphabetize them yourself. That's annoying. If you have five items in the drop-down list or if you have a hundred, it's just pathetic. It makes no sense that you have to do that because I've never seen it not work before in any other system that I've ever worked with. If you make a list of things, most solutions automatically put it in an alphabetized order. Or it'll put it in date order, but there is some order. It doesn't just go randomly in the order you create them. For example, I might load about 20 neighborhoods into a drop-down list, starting at "a" and ending at "z." But I might miss one of the "b's" and two of the "c's," so I add them, but they are added after the "z." Then I have to go to the bottom of the list, click on the one that starts with "b," and drag it all the way up to the "b's." That's just a pain in the butt.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature is that because this solution uses the cloud, you only have to install it and allocate it to a user, making it quite easy to use."
"My access to Microsoft Dynamics CRM is limited, so I can only access the feature of registering the pipeline and activities. That feature is enough for me to do the job, and is what I find most valuable in the solution."
"The Outlook calendar has been very helpful for us."
"The stability of the solution is high."
"The solution is easy to use and stable. It offers a 360-degree view of your customers. It allows you to track interactions, giving you full visibility into customer habits and behavior"
"The most valuable features of Microsoft Dynamics CRM are the accessibility of the service because we can access it either in the office or when we're out in the field."
"The most valuable feature of Microsoft Dynamics CRM is its performance."
"The most valuable feature is that it's easy to use and can work with any Microsoft solution without problems."
"The most valuable feature of Vtiger CRM is automation."
"The fact that we can build our own modules on the solution is really quite attractive, and it's not overly complex."

Cons

"Microsoft Dynamics CRM can improve by adding more artificial intelligence. Additionally, they should add more modules, such as account-based management, that are available on other platforms such as salesforce.com."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM could improve the built-in reports. The ones that are included are pretty generic unless you subscribe to Microsoft BI, which is an extra fee. They should offer the reports without having to purchase a separate subscription for Microsoft BI. However, the reports in Microsoft BI are fantastic."
"The tool should be micro-services-based. If it's not already implemented, the architecture could be enhanced by transitioning to a microservices-based model. This would allow each module to be managed independently, reducing downtime and enabling teams to work autonomously on specific services."
"If there was a bit more automation, specifically for marketing tasks, that would be ideal."
"The UI/UX needs improvement as it is not intuitive from day one."
"It would be better if it were more secure."
"In terms of the performance, when it comes to loading a large volume of data, it's slow at times, so the system could be optimized."
"Overall, the solution could be made to be more user friendly."
"If you make a drop-down list of something, it doesn't automatically alphabetize the drop-down list. You have to manually go and drag items up and down and alphabetize them yourself."
"The mobile design could improve in Vtiger CRM. It could be more user-friendly."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"On a scale from one to ten with one being expensive and ten being of great value, I would rate Microsoft Dynamics CRM at six on pricing."
"The price of the solution is good but could be cheaper."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM's price is too high."
"We have to buy a separate license in order to implement the social listening feature."
"The annual license for Microsoft Dynamics CRM could be reduced, it is expensive."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM is an expensive solution."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM is slightly cheaper than Salesforce today. Pricing for the solution is pretty aggressive in the market."
"For the price of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, you receive a lot of comprehensive functionality. Additionally, it integrates very well. We pay approximately $100 a month to use the solution and we do not have any additional costs."
"The price doesn't change when you add users. It's a flat fee, and that's attractive."
"We are using the free open-source version of Vtiger CRM."
