Centralized monitoring has improved threat detection speed and simplified alert investigations
It would be helpful if some alerts had cleaner, clearer explanations right away, such as suggesting next steps inside the alert, and fewer clicks to get from alert to raw event details would make the triage even faster. Integration could be more plug-and-play, and improving built-in guidance for new analysts would help cut the learning curve. Performance-wise, it is adequate for us, but easier bulk searches would make investigations smoother. It would be helpful for each alert to come with clear suggested next steps right inside the alert, so analysts do not have to guess or click around too much. Making integration more plug-and-play would smooth out setup for new data sources.

A highly scalable solution that is easy to manage and super easy to set up
We use Snare for picking up Windows logs, and we used to use it for SQL as well. We had used it for Linux once or twice. We're mainly using it for Windows and Windows flat files The most valuable feature of Snare is flexibility or the ability to filter all things you don't want and don't have…

Pros

"Overall, this affects my security posture positively because it improves it since it helps us in real-time monitoring, and it gives us automated investigation and also the auto-investigate tab, so it is pretty good."
"SentinelOne Singularity AI SIEM has positively impacted my organization by improving visibility, reducing investigation time, and helping the security team respond to incidents faster."
"The beauty of the integration is that it integrates very smoothly with third-party tools, so we do not need to think about the parsers, coding, depending on the codes, or the software developers."
"The AI features of SentinelOne Singularity AI SIEM are absolutely perfect."
"SentinelOne Singularity AI SIEM has impacted my organization positively because I am observing some improvement, including real-time monitoring and real-time threat detection that help secure both our and the client's organization from anything suspicious or any malicious types of alerts."
"SentinelOne Singularity AI SIEM's AI-powered analytics does affect our SOC's ability to reduce false positives; that is one of the biggest advantages because the manpower that I have is limited."
"AI-driven capabilities will give me real-time detection and will protect my autonomous AI interruption."
"I will strongly recommend this, because after SentinelOne Singularity AI SIEM we have reduced our engineering time to a certain degree as it has helped us to do investigations fast, we get actual alerts that matter and can prioritize them properly, and the monitoring capability is now completely in one single platform so we do not have to go here and there, which has given us good ROI in total."
"The most valuable feature of Snare is flexibility or the ability to filter all things you don't want and don't have security value."
"Snare has good agents, especially for Windows."
"The best thing about Snare is its format and consistency."

Cons

"There is room for improvement when it comes to the technical support quality and expertise of SentinelOne. Sometimes, the technical support team does not know how to resolve certain issues and takes time to respond, often requiring follow-up interactions within 24 hours."
"Unfortunately, I was not happy with SentinelOne Singularity AI SIEM because it is not mature yet."
"The AI-generated investigations can occasionally require manual validation for complex incidents."
"It is quite good, but the only downside is that it is costly."
"At the moment, I feel the pricing is a little bit on the higher side, but the tool is positioned in a place where risk is very high, and we do not want to take chances, so we are prepared to pay the premium."
"SentinelOne Singularity AI SIEM is a strong platform, but there are a few areas where it could be improved."
"SentinelOne Singularity AI SIEM can improve in the area of XDR, especially in the integration between SentinelOne and other solutions and components in the network, as it was not working well with the Fortinet firewall."
"SentinelOne Singularity AI SIEM has some performance and reliability issues that need improvement."
"Users will initially find it difficult to identify the event types and installation in Snare."
"Snare should modernize its GUI a little bit."
"The solution is now developing a SIEM-like feature on Snare Central Server, but it's not complete yet."
