MuleSoft seems to have certain advantages over Spring Edge. Mulesoft covers more use cases, while Spring Edge is lightweight. The use cases mentioned revolve around integration capabilities. It can handle more integration. On the other hand, while offering some plugins for integration, Spring Edge is portrayed as more focused on communication tasks.

Self-hosted media streaming has become secure and automated, and certificate management is simplified
I think Traefik Enterprise can be improved with native multi-cluster control plane syncing. For example, when using syncing similar to Kubernetes, Traefik Enterprise could also utilize multi-cluster control plane syncing. I believe it could improve some documentation context. Sometimes it supports many dynamic provider environments, but the documentation for each dynamic provider is not comprehensive. I think that can be improved. The dashboard could also be enhanced, such as managing any network operation or providing a toggle for a maintenance page. Those things can be improved in the UI dashboard. Traefik Enterprise can be improved with things such as hard controller defenses for distributed rate limiting, high-capacity log streaming buffering, and implementing some asynchronous configurable non-blocking internal ring buffer mechanisms in log shipping. Additional improvements could include native blue-green canary automation, fragmented CLI engine management, such as using the control plane operation in Kubernetes, open API driver REST endpoints, removing unnecessary maintenance, and separating the operational libraries such as TCTL. Those kinds of small improvements could be made.

Cons

"MuleSoft seems to have certain advantages over Spring Edge. Mulesoft covers more use cases, while Spring Edge is lightweight. The use cases mentioned revolve around integration capabilities. It can handle more integration. On the other hand, while offering some plugins for integration, Spring Edge is portrayed as more focused on communication tasks."
"With Traefik, there are a lot of files that should be specified for Traefik. With Nginx, we have one file, which is Ingress Nginx, but with Traefik, there is more than one file you need to configure to work it as well."
"I have not seen a return on investment and I am not handling this, so I do not have access to relevant metrics like fewer employees needed or money saved."
"Although the documentation of Traefik Enterprise is good, for advanced functions it can be complex for those who are starting."
"Traefik Enterprise can be improved because the learning curve is quite difficult; the basic setups are quick, but the advanced ones are very difficult to learn."
"I would appreciate improvements to the user interface because it currently appears generic."
"I do not see many points for improvement in Traefik Enterprise at the moment; the only point might be the documentation—making it available in more languages and a bit more friendly for those who are just starting out, because we had some difficulty at the beginning and had to look for some information and courses elsewhere."
"One should be able to just check things straight up from the UI and get to know what kind of issues are there in the solution, and even though such a feature is already there in the tool, there is more work to be done in it."
"Traefik Enterprise can be improved because the documentation is not very easy to read and comb through."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Spring Edge's pricing is reasonable."
"I would say that Traefik Enterprise is cheaper than the other alternatives in the market."
