Has supported secure application hosting and reliable server management
I find the GUI to be good in Ubuntu Linux, and I appreciate the open SSH. The fact that it is free since it is open and open-source is why I appreciate it and feel it is secured. We have multiple different kinds of support related to Ubuntu Linux, including official support and other options. I am currently using laptops, desktops, and servers, and Ubuntu Linux supports all these devices. If I need it for Raspberry Pi or something similar, I can download another Linux distribution. Ubuntu Linux is scalable, especially for servers. We prefer using Ubuntu Linux Servers rather than Windows. The biggest advantage of Ubuntu Linux for me is that it is open-source, secured, and scalable.

Integration capabilities enhance operational efficiency while limited support impacts overall satisfaction
The most valuable feature in Zoho One is integration. You can either use custom integration using Deluge script, or there is another tool called Zoho Flow, which is similar to Zapier, where you can use it to integrate different applications. You can create webhooks, and you can use different methods to integrate all different things. Integration capability is the field where Zoho One is used mostly. Zoho One uses Zoho Analytics, which is among the top tools in the market for analytics, reporting, and dashboards. When you are using one of the top tools in the market for analytics and have its integration available, you can integrate with any of the Zoho One applications, which includes more than 45 applications, including CRM and Books. This provides you with high analytics capabilities, allowing you to create a report for anything, from anywhere, for any process.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The integration with other applications, like Chrome or Firefox, works excellent for users navigating and test browsing."
"Ubuntu Linux is a convenient solution."
"It is fast and easy to install. It also supports containers and all kinds of libraries. I can do almost everything with it."
"The most valuable feature is that it's developer-friendly and easily accessible. Like any other Linux operating system, you have access to open sources, all the necessary tooling, and anything that helps developers do their work. I'm no Linux guru, but Ubuntu offers packages that I find easy to use. There are other options for people who are very skilled with Linux, but this solution has the perfect balance of having enough technical requirements to meet your needs while still being usable. It doesn't require you to be so technically proficient that you need to recompile kernels or anything like that. It's a Linux operating system for normal people."
"I think Ubuntu's main strength, as opposed to using the other Linuxes, has been its ability to encourage user feedback."
"The integration with other solutions like Apache is valuable."
"This open source operating system promotes very secure environments with less possibility of being attacked. Support for this system is great because of its quick SLA."
"I like this product much better than some other similar solutions."
"Zoho One is a good application; I think there are a lot of tools that help you to make your work faster, you can automate a lot of operative work, so you can save time in making detailed and operative activities and just focus on the strategic."
"Zoho One is fully customizable—in Zoho One, you get more than 45 applications, which include inventory management, accounting management, and CRM, as well as Zoho Creator, which allows you to create custom applications."

Cons

"Its interface could be improved and made richer."
"We don't have any support, so we search for answers online. However, it can sometimes be a little messy to find the information if you have a highly specific question or a strange problem. It would be nice if finding information were a little simpler. Maybe they could have some portal that could point you to where you can find information."
"On the gaming side, things are happening but there are some games that should be ported to Ubuntu."
"There were stability issues at specific times."
"We face minor issues with the regular upgrade; manual upgrades are required. There have been network configuration issues, specifically with netplan.yaml."
"You need a lot of bandwidth during the initial setup in order to pull from the repository. Without good bandwidth, you'll get cut off and the implementation will fail."
"I would recommend they improve the network security, because it can be very difficult. I mentioned that when you upgrade Ubuntu, the network cut is always deactivated, so you have to restart the service to reactivate the network. It is important to improve this ability."
"The solution could improve by allowing more integration."
"The only area in Zoho One that can be improved is the support."
"I think that when you are running CRM and at the same time Zoho Analytics, and at the same time Zoho Recruit, the apps get very slow."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Ubuntu pricing is reasonable."
"Old equipment works for at least two or three years more, which means a significant savings."
"I use the free version, so I don't have any license fees."
"Ubuntu Linux has a free version, especially if you don't require support."
"I use Ubuntu Linux free of cost."
"If the customer wants to start, there is no license required. It is all free, but they must purchase the production license."
"Ubuntu is a free product."
"The solution is free."
