Global hiring has become compliant while payroll and HR workflows are automated daily
Pros and Cons
  • "Deel has positively impacted my organization by helping us streamline and automate processes, reducing our workload."
  • "Deel can be improved as there are still quite a lot of bugs on the system, which I raise with my account manager."

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Deel centers around the EOR model; however, I have now fully utilized Deel for payroll and HRIS as well.

For EOR and payroll in my day-to-day work, I utilize Deel to employ people in different countries where we don't have entities, which means I don't have to worry about the compliance aspects, as Deel manages it all for us. We use payroll every day because we know that everything is recorded on the system.

I am also utilizing Deel to automate more of our processes, and Deel AI is especially useful.

What is most valuable?

The best features Deel offers include the fantastic service provided by our customer care agents and our account manager, who deliver the best service I have ever received. No problem is too much or too annoying, as they are always there to help out. The whole system itself is amazing with its scale, the fact that everything integrates into one, and the workflows that enable us to automate processes.

Deel has positively impacted my organization by helping us streamline and automate processes, reducing our workload.

What needs improvement?

Deel can be improved as there are still quite a lot of bugs on the system, which I raise with my account manager. While they are dealt with really well, it would be great to reach a stage where I am not having to constantly raise issues or feature requests and have it all done more seamlessly.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Deel for just over a year now.

How are customer service and support?

The support from the customer care agents and account manager stands out to me. I have dealt with Casey, Manu, Karl, and Beth, who have all been absolutely fantastic as they are always coming to us with new solutions and looking for ways to improve our experience at Deel. If we ever have any issues, they always respond really promptly to acknowledge our request. Even if they cannot fix it immediately, they will always keep us up to date with the progress until it gets resolved.

What other advice do I have?

Deel has reduced my workload by around 30 percent at the moment, and part of that is because I need to spend some more time implementing the workflows and delving deeper into the capabilities and features which I am currently in the process of doing.

My advice to others looking into using Deel is simply to do it.

Deel is a great product, and I would highly recommend it. I have given this review a rating of 9.

Global hiring has become faster while onboarding and payroll management remain streamlined
Pros and Cons
  • "Deel has created a great impact and saved us a lot of time and hard work behind the scenes."

What is our primary use case?

Deel is the tool that we use for our employees that are in other countries aside from the US. We have three different examples of how we use Deel for those employees outside the US. We have independent contractors, we also have direct employee payrolls, and we have consultants. We basically own the contracts right there, and we pay them through Deel as well.

    What is most valuable?

There are quite a few best features Deel offers, but I would say having them handle all of the communication and contract and payroll for us would be the best feature that Deel has.

It saves us a lot of time when Deel handles all the communication and contracts because we don't have to compile all the information from the employees. We basically can have them rely on Deel and have them retrieve all the information back to us for our records, but they handle all of the contract and communication on onboarding new employees.

Deel has created a great impact and saved us a lot of time and hard work behind the scenes. It helps us basically hire across the globe without having to, without us being the ones owning the legal portion and the taxes. It has helped us continue with our employees across the globe.

It has really helped us as a company grow and continue providing our employees a good employee experience. Everyone is happy with the tool.

    What needs improvement?

For reporting, I would say that is the only thing I think Deel can be improved at. We would love to do reporting more efficiently within the tool. For example, for employee reporting, to collect all the data that we have for employees into Deel and for payroll purposes.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Deel for two years already.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I have never experienced an error on Deel.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

We have not noticed much challenge with Deel's scalability. Once we did the whole scalability for our new employees, they handle it very well.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We used Remote.com previously. We switched because of the cost and the type of contract, benefits, and other features that they offered our employees were better in Deel than in our previous one.

    How was the initial setup?

From 30 minutes that it would take us to onboard someone regularly, and on a daily basis it would be around 30 to 45 minutes with each employee, it only takes us from 5 to 10 minutes on a daily basis. It depends on if it gets delayed by any reasons, such as if they are missing a document or anything, they will just take care of it and we just have to accept and approve their information into the system.

What other advice do I have?

I do not have any feedback for Deel right now. I would say it is a very good tool. I would recommend companies to really talk through their challenges, currently the challenges that they are facing within their company, so that Deel can offer them many more features than the only ones that they have right now. I know they are improving every day and creating new features. Please stay updated and request them to be able to showcase more of their tools and features on Deel. I gave this review a rating of 10.

Centralized HR and payroll have simplified onboarding and support growing teams
    Pros and Cons
    • "Deel has positively impacted my organization as it is not only a good price point for startups, but it is also very startup-friendly."
    • "Deel needs to work on their customer service and reach out."

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Deel is HRIS and payroll. I use Deel for employment documentation and changes, onboarding, and to pay employees.

    What is most valuable?

The best features Deel offers include a very simple UI platform for employees to update and document any employment changes on the HR side. What stands out to me about the simple UI is the ease of navigation. Deel has positively impacted my organization as it is not only a good price point for startups, but it is also very startup-friendly. It grows with us as the team grows, so we are not having to change platforms.

    What needs improvement?

Deel needs to work on their customer service and reach out. Fortunately, that has been the biggest struggle. Other than that, everything has been good.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Deel for two years.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I have not grown as much, but I know from talking to other users that they use Deel to grow from fifty to one hundred and beyond, and I am excited to see that.

What other advice do I have?

The advice I would give to others looking into using Deel is to project growth of the business overall and lifetime because that will help you decide if Deel is the right solution for you. I give Deel a rating of eight out of ten.

Global payroll has become seamless and has simplified cross‑border taxes and commissions
    Pros and Cons
    • "Deel is a brilliant global payroll platform that has everything needed for doing global payroll, reducing man-hours and the cost of employees spending their time on complicated payroll."

What is our primary use case?

I have been using Deel for the past two years, but for the last six months, I have stopped using Deel for some reasons.

My main use case for Deel while I was using it was specifically for my employee based in South Africa, and Deel really helped me with the global payroll and making the taxes and everything. The seamless payroll support and everything, the support with Deel was really great.

Deel helped with payroll and taxes for my South African employees significantly, as I am a UK-based company and my employee was based in South Africa, so payroll is a very important thing. With Deel, there was a platform which was built by Deel, and I used to go and upload all the details over on the platform itself. The payment and everything was seamlessly done by Deel itself, so there was no manual intervention or anything. It was a platform where I used to update the details if an employee was supposed to receive any commissions, or if there was a raise in the pay cycle or anything; it was supposed to be done through a portal itself. There were no spreadsheets or anything of that nature. I didn't have to go on meetings or calls to do all of this, and even the taxes were also managed through the portal itself.

Deel has impacted me a lot positively, as before Deel, I used to struggle a lot with my South African payroll. I used to have to go check on my employees, figure out how the taxes work over there, then the conversion rates, and all other sheets. There were a lot of things with the South African payroll, but with Deel, it was very simplified. Using one portal, I could basically deal with everything.

      What is most valuable?

Deel helped with payroll and taxes for my South African employees significantly, as I am a UK-based company and my employee was based in South Africa, so payroll is a very important thing. With Deel, there was a platform which was built by Deel, and I used to go and upload all the details over on the platform itself. There were no spreadsheets or anything of that nature. I didn't have to go on meetings or calls to do all of this, and even the taxes were also managed through the portal itself.

In my opinion, the best features Deel offers are the global payroll, EOR, and the support related to HR. Recently, I had a conversation with the Deel team, and they were coming up with something related to the performance review on the Deel portal itself, which is really exciting news for me.

The EOR, Employer of Record feature, and the HR support helped my organization specifically through the platform provided by Deel, where updating anything related to the employee was done on the portal itself without any manual intervention. My employee also got the freedom to go and check the portal themselves, so everything is managed through a specific Deel portal. It is very efficient, as even my invoices and everything are received through it. Even if I want to make the invoice payments or anything, everything was done through a portal, so I think Deel is much more than an HR company; it is a tech-savvy, portal-based organization.

      What needs improvement?

As such, I do not feel there is much room for improvement, as there is a chance for very much improvement, but in my case, it is working very smoothly and seamlessly. One thing I would like Deel to introduce is much more conversational sales support; for example, if I am writing to a support system, the query should be automatically passed to the correct representative with the help of AI. If a query is related to payroll, it should be automatically tagged to a payroll specialist, with the help of the AI.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been working in my current field for the past four years.

How are customer service and support?

Recently, I had a conversation with the Deel team, and they were coming up with something related to the performance review on the Deel portal itself, which is really exciting news for me.

      What was our ROI?

I think time saved and cost saved both apply thanks to using Deel.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate Deel overall a nine on a scale of one to ten.

I gave it a nine because Deel has saved a lot of man-hours for me and also cost, simplifying a very complicated payroll into a very easy payroll now for me.

I would rate Deel's scalability at nine again.

I rate Deel's customer support at seven.

My advice to others looking into using Deel is to consider it the best global payroll option; if anyone has a big global payroll system or has employees based in different countries, Deel is the one-stop solution for every employee, the HR department, or the finance department.

Deel is a brilliant global payroll platform that has everything needed for doing global payroll, reducing man-hours and the cost of employees spending their time on complicated payroll. Deel is a brilliant product for HR-related needs. My overall rating for this review is nine out of ten.

Global hiring has become seamless and our HR team manages all markets in one place
      Pros and Cons
      • "Deel has positively impacted my organization by saving us a lot of time when it comes to hiring people globally and keeping track of our employees."
      • "Deel is a very big system and sometimes it becomes a bit too big."

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Deel is being able to hire people globally, including global payroll and hiring people in markets where we don't have legal entities through their employer of record service. I also use Deel's HRIS to keep track of all of our employees.

In the UK, we don't have a local entity, so we are using their EOR service to hire employees there and provide them with the security of being employees instead of contractors. We use Deel for all of our time off reporting and all of our employee data.

      What is most valuable?

The best features Deel offers include Deel AI, which gives you the ability to ask questions around HR-specific things globally so you don't have to be an expert on each local market's labor laws. You can ask Deel AI and it has a lot of answers for you, which is a great feature. Additionally, being able to hire people globally with the different options available is valuable, as you can have contractors, EORs, PEOs, or your own employees all in Deel.

The AI feature has helped me because we don't have a huge HR team. Being able to ask questions when we expand to a new market is really convenient. I can ask about how many vacation days we have to provide to employees in Spain, in the UK, or in the US, which are the public holidays in these countries, and what the minimum wage is. These are use cases I would say we use on a monthly basis.

Deel has positively impacted my organization by saving us a lot of time when it comes to hiring people globally and keeping track of our employees. It has also made it possible for us to expand to new markets. Before Deel, we had each local market in its own system, but now we have all the different markets in one system, which is very time-saving for us to manage all markets from one place.

      What needs improvement?

Deel is a very big system and sometimes it becomes a bit too big. Being able to customize it more from what each company actually needs would improve it because then it would be easier to use. We wouldn't have to add a huge module every time we want to expand the system, and instead being able to just add one specific feature would help a lot.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Deel for a bit more than a year.

How are customer service and support?

      I rate customer service a 5.

What other advice do I have?

My advice for others looking into using Deel is to understand the full system before implementing it and then have a plan on where you want to start and where you want it to be when you're fully implemented, because you can't do everything at the same time. I give this review a rating of 10.

Streamlined payroll and compliant EOR management have improved our global HR operations
      Pros and Cons
      • "Deel has positively impacted my organization by streamlining payroll processes."
      • "In some countries, the support response time is limited and takes longer to reply to our tickets."

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Deel is payroll and entity-of-record (EOR) services. Deel handles our entity payroll and two EORs, which provides a specific example of how I utilize Deel for payroll and EOR services. This represents the main scope of my usage with Deel.

      What is most valuable?

Deel offers several best features that I rely on regularly. The quick communication with in-local teams is something I truly appreciate. The local compliance handling is a significant strength, as Deel manages these requirements automatically during journal creation.

I find myself relying most on the local team partners, as they demonstrate real competence and remain consistently available whenever I need assistance. This availability makes my work considerably easier.

Deel has positively impacted my organization by streamlining payroll processes. The integrations are extensive, and the errors remain minimal.

      What needs improvement?

Deel can be improved in several areas. In some countries, the support response time is limited and takes longer to reply to our tickets. Additionally, in some countries, recurring issues occur with journals where instructions are not always followed correctly.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Deel for a year and a half.

What other advice do I have?

We are currently integrating SAP, which helps our finance team access all information in real time. We also use BambooHR for all employee-related matters. I would rate this review an 8 out of 10.

Global hiring has become compliant and self-service onboarding keeps my team focused on work
      Pros and Cons
      • "Deel has positively impacted my organization by allowing us to focus on work and leave the compliant hiring to Deel."
      • "My advice for others looking into using Deel is to skip."

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Deel is to hire compliant employees abroad in Europe using their employer record model, because we don't have an entity there.

A specific example of how I've used Deel for hiring in Europe is that we use Deel's Employer of Records to hire compliantly in countries where we don't have an entity. Given that our team is both in-person and remote, Deel helps us hire remotely.

      What is most valuable?

The best features Deel offers include self-onboarding, self-serve, and the ability to create a contract very easily.

The self-onboarding and self-serve features have helped my team by allowing me to focus on the actual work rather than all the drafting.

Deel has positively impacted my organization by allowing us to focus on work and leave the compliant hiring to Deel.

      What needs improvement?

I do not have anything specific about how Deel can be improved.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Deel for about four years.

What other advice do I have?

I do not have anything else to add about my main use case with Deel.

I do not have anything else to add about the features.

I do not have any specific outcomes or improvements I've noticed since using Deel.

Managing payroll for global teams has become faster, more streamlined, and less time-consuming for distributed organizations.
      Pros and Cons
      • "After using Deel, I can manage different payouts across different countries instantly, saving a lot of time, reducing headaches, and minimizing the efforts of human resources."
      • "Deel can be improved on costing, such as being more transparent from day one."

What is our primary use case?

We primarily rely on Deel to manage global payroll for distributed teams working across multiple countries. The platform helps us ensure that contractor payments, tax compliance requirements, and localized employment agreements are handled accurately. Our main use case is processing payments for international contractors in an efficient and organized way. Deel automates several processes such as invoicing, payment processing, compliance documentation, and other administrative responsibilities.
Deel has also simplified international payments significantly. Prior to implementing the platform, coordinating payments for teams located in different countries was complex and time-consuming. Now, payouts can be processed quickly across multiple regions from a single platform. This has reduced the operational burden on our HR team and saved considerable time.
Overall, Deel has improved the way we manage hiring and payments for international contractors. Previously, tasks such as handling contracts, invoices, and compliance documentation required a large amount of manual work. By consolidating these functions into one centralized platform, Deel allows our team to work more efficiently and dedicate more attention to strategic initiatives.

How has it helped my organization?

Deel has significantly enhanced our global payroll and contractor management operations. By bringing contracts, payments, compliance records, and invoicing into one centralized system, it has streamlined workflows and reduced administrative effort. As a result, our HR and finance teams spend less time managing international payment processes and can focus more on higher-value strategic priorities.

      What is most valuable?

Deel provides several high-impact features, including virtual cards, international payment capabilities, and a centralized system for managing global HR operations. The international payments functionality is especially valuable for teams working with contractors across multiple countries. It automatically handles currency conversions and supports various payment methods, eliminating the need for separate banking processes or invoicing tools. This allows all payment-related activities to be managed within a single platform.

The centralized dashboard further enhances efficiency by offering a clear, unified view of contracts, invoices, and payment statuses. This visibility significantly reduces administrative effort for both finance and HR teams, saving time and improving overall workflow management.

Overall, Deel has positively impacted our organization by streamlining payroll processes and simplifying global workforce management. Consolidating these functions into one system has improved operational efficiency across the company.

Additionally, Deel integrates seamlessly with BambooHR, helping to further streamline HR workflows. The platform also includes security measures such as two-factor authentication, ensuring strong account protection. From a usability standpoint, it is intuitive and easy for our team to navigate. It also supports compliance with local labor regulations across different countries, and we have not experienced any compliance-related issues so far.

      s.

      What needs improvement?

While Deel has been very helpful for managing global payroll and contractors, there are a few areas where the platform could be improved. One improvement would be enhanced reporting and analytics capabilities. More customizable reports and deeper insights into payroll data, contractor costs, and workforce trends would help organizations make better strategic decisions.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Deel since  2023.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Deel has not experienced any stability issues.

Global payroll automation has reduced manual work and supports efficient contractor management
      Pros and Cons
      • "Deel has positively impacted my organization by optimizing manual processes, manual analysis, and generating payroll."
      • "I think Deel can be improved with quicker support when we open email requests."

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Deel is global payroll and contract management. A specific example of how I use Deel for global payroll and contract management is that we run global payroll in seven countries in Latin America, and we also manage contractors in all of those countries.

      What is most valuable?

The best features Deel offers include PTO management, global payroll, and contractors management. Deel has positively impacted my organization by optimizing manual processes, manual analysis, and generating payroll. As a result, I have saved at least three days of manual work per month.

      What needs improvement?

I think Deel can be improved with quicker support when we open email requests.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Deel for three years.

How are customer service and support?

      4

What other advice do I have?

I would rate Deel an eight out of ten. I give it an eight because I do not use all features that the platform has available, and although the process is really good, the support can improve. I would advise others looking into using Deel to take a deep look into the implementation to ensure that the features they are purchasing make sense for their organization. Deel has positively impacted my organization by optimizing manual processes, manual analysis, and generating payroll. I do not think any changes are needed for the future as it is really complete.

A specific example of how I use Deel in my work is to check up information and run reports.

I set up the integration and mapping to my ERP system.

      What is most valuable?

The best features Deel offers are the EOR offering and the mapping by department and various sub-dimension.

The mapping by department helps me in my day-to-day work by reducing manual work and making things more automated.
