Unified HR platform has streamlined global hiring, reduced onboarding work, and improved reviews
There are some minor things that I am looking forward to seeing improved in Deel, such as employment types. For example, I hire a lot of interns and there isn't a specific employment type for intern. There are employment types for direct employee, contractor and similar, but nothing for interns. There is a way to work around it by saying an intern is actually a direct employee and then implementing a custom field, but it would be really good if there was a general field to recognize interns as a part of the workforce. That is something that comes to mind. I think there are still some things that Deel will improve over time and then I will be happy to give it a 10 out of 10. Given the fact that it is still a fairly new HRIS system, there are minor improvements that can be made from that perspective of purely admin work, for example, correcting data in the fields once you import them when changing a salary. If I input one salary incorrectly, I need to import another line. I cannot just correct the previous field, which some of the other HRIS systems allow. This way, on one hand I have full tracking of all the logs so I am not missing if someone corrected something or did any changes, but on the other hand, it also remains visible in the logs. Even if it is a small human error, there is no way to make it very well structured and polished when I am drawing, for example, a historical report of all the salary changes. Such things are minor improvements that I believe would come over time. Once those are implemented, it would be a 10 out of 10.

The self-service helps increase employee loyalty
The reporting could use some improvement. It doesn't shorten the data that it displays to the employee. At the moment you have to scroll through all of the results in order to find what you are looking for. Another improvement that should be implemented in the next release is the appraisal. For the appraisal model, we have to go to another solution because the one included is not supporting us in our needs.

Pros

"Deel has positively impacted our organization by allowing us to access talent that we otherwise would not be able to hire because we don't have entities in all those countries."
"Once that was accomplished, the best thing is knowing that Deel is a great company that is always looking for ways to fix and solve problems and is always thinking about the client."
"My advice for others looking into using Deel is to consider it if you need to streamline payroll; it's really straightforward."
"Deel has positively impacted my organization by saving us a lot of time when it comes to hiring people globally and keeping track of our employees."
"The positive impact of Deel on my organization is significant."
"Deel has positively impacted my organization in many ways, as it has definitely streamlined a lot of my processes with all of the payments in one place and all of the employee data in one place."
"Deel has positively impacted my organization as it is very important for us to work with Deel because we are still too small to open an entity in the United States, making it an amazing option to continue working with our United States employees."
"Deel is a brilliant global payroll platform that has everything needed for doing global payroll, reducing man-hours and the cost of employees spending their time on complicated payroll."
"This solution increases the employees' loyalty to the organization since everything regarding their salary, health, insurance, etc. is there, and the employees can also check to see what activity is done on their files."

Cons

"For improvement with Deel, the focus is on the entity side, as we have experienced some delays regarding the entity setup, with the actual timeline being far from what they provided."
"The risk assessment process could be improved because, as a billing manager on a contractual agreement, I was flagged as high risk during onboarding, and it took several months to resolve with limited transparency and guidance on how to address the issue."
"There are small things about Deel that could be improved."
"Pay attention to and review the service catalog since some services may come at an additional price."
"The feature does exist, but for us it is quite expensive compared to doing it ourselves."
"Deel can be improved on costing, such as being more transparent from day one."
"One of the things that I would suggest for Deel to improve is its user interface and navigation because there are times that it can be overwhelming, especially to new users."
"Regarding pricing, installation costs, and license management with Deel, I find that it is still expensive, but at the same time these are market prices, so I understand the logic."
"The reporting could use some improvement."
