We use this software to have all of our RDP and other connections in one place, which is primarily used for our server access.
It allows us to connect to our VNC clients and Lab PC
Pros and Cons
- "It really helps to have all the data already pre-entered and all I have to do is enter the password."
- "It saves a lot of time for all of our IT staff from having to just use the RDP Windows client and reenter each server every time we access a different system."
- "If there was a way to streamline the process, it would make it nice."
- "The filing system of connections is a little clunky, but is completely functional."
What is our primary use case?
How has it helped my organization?
It saves a lot of time for all of our IT staff from having to just use the RDP Windows client and reenter each server every time we access a different system.
It also allows us to connect to our VNC clients and Lab PC.
What is most valuable?
The most valuable piece is the RDP, because some of our servers are virtual machines, so access to them requires us to use RDP. It helps to have all the data already pre-entered and all I have to do is enter the password.
What needs improvement?
The filing system of connections is a little clunky, but is completely functional. If there was a way to streamline the process, it would make it nice.

The filing system is designed to be a waterfall of inheritance so that you can set rights, permissions, and credentials at top and not need to manage each connection. It is clunky if you are a single root (company or domain) but for me where we have twenty or more "roots" and some are internal and restricted while others are external and open it makes much more sense. Also, having the credential entries show in the same folder as the connections can streamline filing but may not be enabled by default. Hope this helps.
