The transition to F5 Distributed Cloud Services (XC) has significantly enhanced our organization's security posture and availability. XC enforces zero-trust architecture, provides unified threat intelligence, and automates security policies across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
It also offers DDoS mitigation capabilities, powered by AI-driven analytics, ensuring robust protection against large-scale and sophisticated DDoS attacks. Additionally, XC's automated compliance tools simplify audits and ensure adherence to regulations like GDPR and FERPA. These improvements have reduced breach risks and streamlined operational complexity.
What is most valuable?
The valuable features include its API Security, anti-bot protection, and web application firewall. It has greatly improved the security posture of my applications, web applications, and also effectively mitigates DDoS attacks.
Before implementing the DDoS protection on F5 Volterra, there were about three successful DDoS incidents. Afterward, I did not experience a single incident for eight months.
What needs improvement?
The reporting needs improvement in Volterra. I do not have many options to create a customized report.

I have been using the solution for about eight months.
How are customer service and support?
I think it's because no one is complete, however, the reporting issue arises because I want very customized, detailed reports.

The initial setup was very simple.
What about the implementation team?
F5 has an implementation team that helped me implement the system. My experience with the implementation is that it is easy and does not take a lot of time to complete.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
It is not high and not low. It is a fair price.
What other advice do I have?
Since it is one solution for many things, it is a good option for integrating all these solutions on one platform. I recommend it to other users.
