Configuration, setup, and schema design are good features in MariaDB, and typical database features we have used include backup, configuration, recovery, archiving, and ETL.
MariaDB is a user-friendly, open-source database known for its high availability, superior performance, and seamless scalability. Despite its strengths, improvements in AWS integration, scalability, redundancy, and handling of complex SQL queries are needed. The community values its powerful features, but enhancements in document caching and resilience against unexpected failures, like database corruption after shutdowns, are necessary. MariaDB efficiently manages large databases but could better handle higher transactions and power operations.
