We use Nutanix Acropolis AOS as an HCI platform.

The most valuable feature I have found to be the Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV).

Nutanix Acropolis AOS could improve by adding some NAS features, similar to the ones that are available in the NetApp solution.

I have been using Nutanix Acropolis AOS for approximately five years.

The solution provides good stability.

The solution is scalable, most of our customers are enterprise companies.

We have received good technical support. However, they do not support all partners the same, it is difficult for some to get involved.

This version of the solution is easy to install compared to the previous one. Additionally, configuring data storage, such as EMC or NetApp, has become a lot easier.

The price of the solution is high.

This solution is one o the top platforms in its class.

I rate Nutanix Acropolis AOS an eight out of ten.

We are using Nutanix Acropolis AOS for running applications.

Nutanix Acropolis AOS is easy to use, integrates with other hardware configurations, and is simple to manage.

I have been using this solution for approximately four years.

I have found the solution reliable.

The solution is easy to scale and upgrade.

We have approximately 30 clients using this solution.

The technical support is excellent for Nutanix, they are very responsive.

The installation difficulty depends on the environment but it typically is simple.

There is a license required for this solution and my clients usually purchase a two-year license with extended support. The price of the solution could be reduced, it is more expensive than competitors. You are able to receive some discounts if you meet certain criteria that make the price more comparable to others. However, the discounts tend to be difficult to qualify for. 

I rate Nutanix Acropolis AOS a nine out of ten.

We are a solution provider and my role is in pre-sales. Nutanix Acropolis AOS is one of the products that I have experience with, and we propose to customers. It is part of the hyper-converged infrastructure.

Use cases include VDI, critical applications, and containerization.

Nutanix has many features.

It supports multi-cloud integration that includes AWS, Google, and Azure.

In the future, I would like to see integration with external storage using the fiber channel. As it is now, Nutanix can only integrate with external storage using the SCSI protocol.

We have been selling Nutanix Acropolis AOS for almost four years, since 2016.

This is a stable product.

In Indonesia, Nutanix is used by smaller companies.

Technical support from Nutanix is quite good.

We have experience with similar products from different vendors. This one is similar to the Cisco HyperFlex, but with different hardware. The Nutanix product is cheaper, more popular in Indonesia, and is used by smaller organizations. The customer support for Nutanix is better in terms of responsiveness and problem-solving.

The initial setup is straightforward and it takes about 45 minutes to deploy.

Nutanix is cheaper than Cisco HyperFlex, although it depends on the configuration because Nutanix can also be expensive.

In summary, this product is very mature, stable, and easy to use. It is a platform that I can recommend, although it is based on the requirements and needs of the customer.

Nutanix is a popular solution in Indonesia because it can only be used by SMB customers. Ultimately, after I look at the requirements, I decide what technology will best suit the customer.

I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.

Our primary use is to replace legacy infrastructure and to improve production.

We wanted a solution that would allow us to easily manage and upgrade without a noticeable impact on the users. We found ourselves having to search for different outage windows that nobody liked in our old infrastructure.

What is also important is the reliability of the upgrade and how it works with the rest of our infrastructure. The security and encryption are also enterprise-grade, which is something that we like.

Overall, the solution works very well with our environment.

We have been running Nutanix since 2019 and it has been a day and night difference from our old infrastructure. The high availability of the CVMs along with high performance on the hosts has made transaction processing fast and efficient.

The deployment did not take long and everything on Nutanix is performing blazing fast. The simplicity of management is fantastic and the learning curve is great as well.

The most valuable features are simple management and one-click upgrades. The ability to upgrade during the day, although not recommended, works and is fantastic.

This solution would be improved with built-in integration with Rubrik.

We have been using Nutanix Acropolis AOS for one year.

We did not use another solution prior to this one.

My advice is to get the ultimate license, as it is worth it.

We evaluated VxRail before implementing this solution.

In most of the cases, the clients use the solution as a file server or database with data and another solution. Mostly, there is hyperconversion with Acropolis and its hypervisor.

My experience with the Nutanix Acropolis is good from both a reseller and end-user experience.

The automation is excellent.

The product offers a quality hypervisor.

The solution offers very good customization.

The administration with the prem solution is very good.

Overall, it's quite a comprehensive solution.

The user experience is very good.

The product has a very nice user interface.

It's easy to use and has a very smooth onboarding process.

We find the performance to be excellent on this solution.

The cost of the solution is too expensive. There are other options, such as VMware, that are offered for less money. In Latin America, it seems to be overpriced for the market.

We've been using the solution for one year at this point. It hasn't been too long.

We've found the stability to be excellent. There aren't any issues around its reliability. It doesn't crash or freeze. It's not buggy at all.

Nutanix scales better than VMware, however, the pricing is an issue. As you scale, it costs more.

Typically, the customers that use Nutanix are larger organizations as the cost is quite high and an SME would not necessarily be able to afford it.

The technical support is very good. We're quite satisfied with the level of service we receive.

We also find that the documentation is very good and quite easy to understand, which helps with the usability of the product.

We also deal with VMware. There's some competition between the two as VMware is less expensive. 

The initial setup is not complex at all. it's very easy and straightforward. The onboarding process is also nice and simple. We've had a good experience.

Between VMware and Nutanix, the price of VMware is lower. In comparison, Nutanix is pricey. 

I work for a distributor of Nutanix that also handles VMware. However, I market the Nutanix solutions primarily. We're resellers and we're a partner of Nutanix. We use both on-premises and cloud deployment versions. We tend to use Google and Amazon clouds when we use cloud deployments.

The platform is very easy to use and the administration functionality is good. Even in relation to VMware, which is cheaper, I like Nutanix best. It's easy to learn and the processes of configuration and onboarding are fantastic.

Overall, I would rate the solution eight out of ten.

Our primary use case is for VDI.

The tool for operations is pretty easy to use. It has a single pane of glass and you don't have to jump around various toolsets.

This product would be improved if it included a hybrid cloud solution.

Better integration with various solutions with Citrix would be helpful, as well as perhaps working with VMware on Workspace ONE.

I have been using Acropolis AOS for approximately six months.

AOS is pretty stable and I know that they are continuing to invest, so it is improving.

This is a scalable product.

I have been in contact with technical support and they are okay. I wouldn't say anything bad.

We had another solution prior to this one, and it was a corporate, executive decision to switch.

The initial setup was straightforward. The deployment took less than two weeks.

Yes had some assistance from a consulting firm for the deployment.

This product is less expensive than some of the competing HCI solutions.

My advice for anybody who is looking into Nutanix Acropolis AOS is to have a look at the other solutions on the market because the suitability of one over the other might depend on your business requirements and what it is that you are trying to do.

This is a good product but in the future, I would like to see them focus on integration and simplicity because it would help to make it more user-friendly.

I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.

The primary use case is for software-defined storage, central storage, virtualization, and hyper-converged infrastructures.

Also, for an on-premises cloud experience.

What I like the most are the high-availability and scalability.

I am comfortable with all of the features.

In the next release, I would like better and more competitive pricing.

I have been using this solution since 2016, almost four years.

We are using the latest version.

It's a stable product.

It's a scalable product.

We have many deployments; one of them has approximately 1000 employees. Some have 30 employees, and others that I have implemented have 500 users.

Technical support is very cooperative, and wonderful in their support.

Previously, I did not use another similar solution.

The initial setup was straightforward and it took a few hours to deploy.

I am an integrator and completed the installation myself.

The licensing costs are a bit expensive but when you compare the features, it's reasonable.

I would recommend this solution to others and I will continue to integrate this solution into the future.

I would rate Nutanix Acropolis AOS solution a nine out of ten.

We are a reseller and Nutanix Acropolis AOS is one of the products that I have experience with. I have three nodes, and I am very satisfied with it. I deploy my ERP and my CRM into this infrastructure.

This solution provides very good opportunities.

The most valuable feature is the one-click to update the firmware and software. This is a very good feature for me.

The access speed needs to be improved.

I would like to see official compatibility with Red Hat in the future. This is important because we have a lot of customers who are using Red Hat.

We have been working with this product for approximately a year and a half.

The stability is very good.

The scalability is wonderful, as it is very easy to increase scale.

Our clients are medium and large-sized companies.

Nutanix technical support is very good. The documentation and the community are also very good. There are a lot of blogs in the network and they respond very quickly when we have a problem.

The initial setup is very easy. The length of time required for deployment depends on the packages and functionality. In some instances, we have deployed in one minute, whereas in others, it has taken 30 minutes.

We have a team of developers and they are responsible for the deployment we use in the company.

Overall, this is a very good product. I would say that it is a Top of the World solution.
