I use Odoo for one of my clients based in Tunisia. I choose Odoo for my client since it is easier than SIP, in my opinion.
Odoo is used for managing businesses, like purchasing or making a product, and for other related activities.
I use Odoo for one of my clients based in Tunisia. I choose Odoo for my client since it is easier than SIP, in my opinion.
Odoo is used for managing businesses, like purchasing or making a product, and for other related activities.
Of the modules offered by Odoo and many of them are free, while some need to be paid for use. It is interesting to me that Odoo offers free modules, especially more than SIP.
I use Odoo on my mobile, along with its API model. Odoo provides their apps on mobile, but it is not good enough, especially for my clients. I need to build other apps using other technologies. I use Flutter for Android and iOS, but I still use Odoo for its API model. Odoo needs to improve its mobile application.
I have been using Odoo for two years. I am using Odoo Version 13. I am a user of the solution.
Until now, Odoo has been stable, but I did face trouble when I tried to upgrade to Odoo Version 14. The trouble I faced during the upgrading phase may be because of a wrong step in Odoo's setup phase. I think it's very difficult for me now to update the version of Odoo.
Almost 50 people in my company use Odoo.
My clients have contacted Odoo's technical support.
The solution is deployed on my server.
Odoo's setup phase is easy.
Odoo is an open-source tool. I don't have to pay for it. We use Odoo's community version, which is stable and runs well. We don't use Odoo's pro version.
I recommend the solution to those planning to use it.
Odoo's stability is sometimes good, and sometimes it is not good. At times Odoo is down when bombarded with many requests, but it is a good product when considering the fact that it is a free-source solution.
Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
I use it for my company and for my customers. So, I used the solution for a project in the USA and later for a retailer. The solution is used as an ERP tool.
The way the solution deals with POS, inventories, sales, and procurement are some of the features of the solution.
The solution lacks local API support. Also, it lacks some database integration platforms. In short, it lacks an API integration platform.
Also, we have a very strong Bitnami platform, and we need integration with Odoo. In the future, I would like Oddo to consider an omnichannel API integration with Bitnami's local platform.
I have experience with Odoo for three or four years. Also, I don't know the version. I am a customer of the solution.
The product is stable.
My customers are mostly SMEs.
The product is scalable. I rate the scalability an eight out of ten.
The technical support is good. I rate the technical support a seven out of ten.

The deployment is complex because we need so many customizations to fit our business. Also, it affects the solution's cost. Since it requires a complicated effort, we deploy it.
For the implementation, three stages are followed in the first phase. For its implementation, we follow a book and apply the standard deployment procedures mentioned in it. Then, we work to set up the plans and goals before doing the customization. After that, we work out a plan to implement and deploy the solution. Four to five people are required to carry out the deployment procedure. So, we usually help your customers to implement it.
The solution's pricing should have been lower. So, Odoo should consider reducing it by another twenty percent. Currently, we pay around 5000-6,000 USD per month, though I am not sure. We have to pay additionally for maintenance and support.
Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
I work in the legal industry and use Odoo to communicate between the legal, finance, and sales departments.
The most valuable features of Odoo are its customization and the fact that I can add modules whenever I want to the solution and the customization.
The solution's reporting could be improved.
I have been using Odoo for six years.
I rate Odoo a seven out of ten for stability.
I don't know if the solution can be scalable for bigger organizations, but it is scalable with regard to modules.
Odoo provides great technical support.
Positive
The solution’s initial setup is easy.
The solution's deployment involves installing the software, doing some environmental changes, and customizations, which may take weeks if we have to make a lot of changes.
On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive, I rate Odoo's pricing a six out of ten.
Overall, I rate Odoo an eight out of ten.
I use Odoo in my company since it is easy to use and learn. Our company's employees have no complaints about the product since they received training to use it. In general, it is not a complicated software to use. Though the product was an ERP solution earlier, it is now useful as an ERP and CRM tool.
The software cannot contribute to decision-making, and it becomes an area where Odoo can invest in improvements, considering areas like AI and ML, where there are shortcomings.
There are areas in the solution that require improvement. My company moved to Odoo to use it as our main cloud application and system software. It is easy to use and easy to reach out to the configuration system. The stability of the product is an area of concern where improvements are required.
I have been using Odoo for four to five years.
Stability-wise, I rate the solution a seven to eight out of ten.
It is a scalable solution.
About 15 employees in my company use the solution.
Though there are plans to increase the use of the solution in our company, I need feedback on the product from my company and the country in which I operate, because of which I am plainly using the software at the current stage.
Though there is technical support from Odoo, I need to ask our company's account manager to grant me access to contact Odoo's support team.
The product's initial setup phase was easy.
The solution is deployed on the cloud.
The solution can be deployed in three months maximum.
The installation part of the solution was managed in our company with the help of a consultant.
There is a need to pay towards the licensing costs attached to the solution. It is not an expensive solution, especially in my country.
Odoo can be useful for small websites carrying out campaigns involving ten to fifty or a maximum of a hundred people. It is a solid platform, but you should move to another solution in case the number of users crosses the limit of a hundred.
It can cover sites in terms of sales processes, projects, and the point of sale. The product also helps users manage the areas of inventory and purchase. The tool provides a proper vision for a small company.
I rate the overall solution a seven out of ten.
We are an accounting company that collaborates with small and medium-sized businesses, offering our expertise and consulting services to analyze their business models and information. This analysis helps in making IT changes and transformations aligned with their business plans. There are several reasons why we recommend companies adopt web-based solutions.
One of these reasons is the cost savings achieved by eliminating the need to invest in hardware infrastructure. The second reason is the avoidance of the necessity to hire system experts. Lastly, because the installations are not reliant on our hardware, the state of our infrastructure becomes inconsequential. As long as our PC is operational, regardless of the operating system it runs, and as long as we can open a browser, we can access Odoo. Similar to how CMS systems work for platforms like Webex, Odoo functions as an ERP accessible through a browser, much like Amazon and Ali Express. Odoo ensures continuous communication between accounting and the warehouse, facilitating swift and efficient communication that doesn't consume excessive time.
There are three valuable features of Odoo: a browser-based user experience, the elimination of the need for system experts, and cost savings due to not requiring hardware.
The licensing cost is also significantly lower and can be adjusted based on the number of users we possess.
Odoo operates on a subscription-based model, ensuring access to the most up-to-date version at all times.
The range of choices and functionalities has space for enhancement. For instance, Odoo currently only accommodates one barcode per item. However, in reality, if an item is being exported from China to Europe and then from Europe to the United States, that item can have multiple barcodes.
Odoo operates in a distinct manner compared to traditional ERPs. It involves utilizing modules that can be developed by third-party partners like ourselves, which can then be placed on the Odoo marketplace. Numerous functionalities within Odoo have room for enhancement, a progression I'm confident will occur due to its recent entry into the ERP market when contrasted with the classic ERPs dating back to the 1980s. This is the reason why certain features they offer are comparatively less extensive than those found in the classical ERPs.
I am currently using Odoo.
Odoo is consistently available online. The only stability concern our clients might encounter is in cases where they experience local power problems and lack a backup generator to support their operations. Organizations that utilize laptops and UPS, for example, do not face any stability issues.
Odoo is highly scalable.
I would rate the initial setup of Odoo a five out of ten. The deployment never takes less than one week. To input all of our company information into Odoo, requires extensive planning over several months, if not years, depending on the scale of the operation. Following that, there's a process of extracting data from the ERP for testing, creating training materials for the staff, conducting tests once again, and finally deploying the system. For instance, consider a small company consisting of thirteen individuals who have recently graduated from high school and are aiming to initiate a car service. In their case, they can have the system up and running in a matter of hours, similar to other ERP systems.
To commence the invoicing process, we must input all our sales items along with their names, followed by the corresponding barcodes and prices into our warehouse management system. Additionally, we need to enter both our incoming costs and profit margins.
We pay based on the number of users and the amount of data, which results in a lower cost.
I would rate the price as a one out of ten, with ten being the most expensive.
I would rate Odoo eight out of ten. My primary concern is the necessity to depend on third-party developers for modules, as we are uncertain about their long-term objectives and reliability.
For small and medium businesses, it is advisable to wait for Odoo to align with the features offered by classic ERPs, instead of investing millions in infrastructure.
For companies undergoing a transformation, the decision to use Odoo is not merely based on the potentially time-consuming nature of the deployment. Instead, it revolves around the consideration of long-term costs and benefits. This is because Odoo eliminates expenses related to hardware, software, and human support.
Odoo does have some questionable aspects. Although they are performing admirably in their field, they do have third-party modules. This setup is quite similar to CMS systems, where third parties contribute additional modules. Odoo doesn't develop many of these extensions themselves; instead, they depend on their partners for that.
We've never had issues requiring the use of Odoo's technical support. If we conduct thorough research and prepare well-formulated questions for the vendors in advance, we will have a clear understanding of what we're dealing with. So, sometimes, if there is a known bug, it might not have been deployed in the system yet. Alternatively, it could be a lack of functionality, which we can suggest as an improvement, or it might involve a third-party developer. In such cases, we might express a need for a particular feature or tool and then await the release of a new software version. It's not necessarily a problem with the platform itself; rather, it's often about missing features. However, it's important to note that Odoo is continuously growing and improving. They are expanding and enhancing their offerings every day.
I am a consultant providing Odoo for my clients. I help my clients automate workflows. They have workloads that are hard-coded, so we need to go beyond the limitations and start connecting all those through APIs with an automation engine.
Odoo is a cost-effective tool for performing core ERP functions, such as inventory management. It's also good for manufacturing use cases.
Odoo's automation and workflow design tools could be better. It has some limitations compared to other ERP solutions like SAP. You should have the option to design workflows in order using BPM diagrams and tools that make it more versatile in terms of adapting to any workflow through low code.
I have implemented Odoo for my clients for the last four years.
I rate Odoo eight out of 10 for stability.
I rate Odoo eight out of 10 for scalability.
I rate Odoo support six out of 10. This is another area where Odoo can improve. They lack services.
Neutral
Deploying Odoo is straightforward. You can deploy it on a private cloud or on-premises.
Odoo is an affordable ERP solution for small and medium-sized businesses that can't afford more expensive commercial products.
I rate Odoo eight out of 10. It's an excellent platform that offers a great balance of cost and benefit. I recommend finding a reputable partner to implement Odoo. If you try to skimp on consultants, they may perform a faulty implementation that requires you to start from scratch. This happened with many of our clients before they came to us. It will end up costing you more in the end.
As an end user of Odoo, I can efficiently complete tasks and requests, such as managing inventory, submitting leave requests, and searching for information.
The most valuable feature of Odoo is the fingerprint feature. The feature allows for quick and seamless sign-in and sign-out when departing from the workplace within a specific area. This is the smoothest use of Odoo and its best advantage.
The cost of the solution can be improved.
I have been using the solution for two years.
The solution is very stable. I give the stability a ten out of ten.
We simply send a request ticket to Odoo on behalf of the person who is having an issue with their device.
We pay for a three-year license. The cost is expensive but cheaper than some other competitors.
I give the solution a ten out of ten.
We have 500 people using the solution.
I recommend the solution to others.
We use the solution for many purposes, including HR, CRM, Contact, data management and holidays.
The UI is very user-friendly.
The import of terms and conditions needs more handwork.
I have been using Odoo for two years.
The product is stable.
I rate the solution’s stability a ten out of ten.
20 users are working on the solution.
I rate the solution’s scalability a ten out of ten.
The customer service’s response time and quality could be better.

I have experience with SAP. SAP is powerful, but it is complex and expensive for most of the requirements. Odoo is less powerful than SAP but is much more user-friendly.
The initial setup is simple. We started with Software as a Service hosted by Odoo, which runs very easily. When you make any adjustments, they charge for every line of code. This is a disadvantage, but there is no cost once you leave software services hosted on your server.
I rate the product’s pricing a ten out of ten, where one is expensive and ten is cheap.
Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
