My main use case for Okta Identity Platform is to secure credentials across different platforms, specifically for single sign-on.

A specific example of how I'm using Okta Identity Platform for single sign-on or managing credentials is that when I log into my daily work, I log into one place, have my two-step authentication, and then I can access Salesforce, open up the knowledge base, and then open up another platform where we have our chatbot. I can open up different linked systems, see where updates are needed, and not have to log into each individually each time, which saves time.

That is the primary way I leverage Okta Identity Platform.

Okta Identity Platform offers simple sign-on and not having to remember everything each time as its best features.

When I say simple sign-on, I find the interface somewhat easy to use, but it is more about how it integrates with all my different platforms. What makes that feature stand out for me is definitely the integration; sometimes the interface can be a bit difficult when it comes to methods of authenticating, but overall I would say integration comes first.

Customization is unique where I can turn off or on or hide or show what items I want easily available, making it convenient, especially coming in as a new person.

Okta Identity Platform has positively impacted my organization through simplicity and added security; it has a lot of firewalls behind where things are saved, avoiding more cybersecurity threats, and simplifying day-to-day life.

Regarding how Okta Identity Platform has helped with cybersecurity threats, I see that there are fewer incidents when I am logging into one place instead of sharing on multiple platforms repeatedly; this reduces the availability for risk.

I am not really sure how Okta Identity Platform can be improved; perhaps a simpler login method would help, but I think that is in practice.

A specific example of how I use Okta Identity Platform [Private Offer Only] as an identity provider is that we have many applications that need to authenticate employees or users, and I integrate those as chiclets in the Okta dashboard for single sign-on. Once I integrate an application, for example PeerSpot, it appears as a chiclet on the Okta dashboard. When I click it, Okta allows me to single sign-on into PeerSpot using authentications. This is the only use case I use, and I have used it in two different organizations with the same similar usage.

Okta Identity Platform [Private Offer Only] offers several best features in my experience, including the ease of access of single sign-on. Before I started using Okta Identity Platform [Private Offer Only], I do not think there was any identity provider that was so quick to allow users to authenticate. It makes the user experience really easy and fast. Additionally, there is also two-factor authentication, so I know it is secure and cannot be hacked.

Out of the features of single sign-on, quick authentication, and two-factor authentication offered by Okta Identity Platform [Private Offer Only], I find myself relying on authentication using single sign-on the most on a daily basis because it is what I use every day.

Before choosing Okta Identity Platform [Private Offer Only], I did not evaluate any other options, but I do not think there is anything comparable to Okta Identity Platform [Private Offer Only] as of now.

My advice to others looking into using Okta Identity Platform [Private Offer Only] is that if you want one easy plug-in option for providing authentication to various platforms that you already use, rather than logging into each one separately with credentials and two-factor authentication, you should take Okta Identity Platform [Private Offer Only]. It saves time and is flawless and secure. I rate this product ten out of ten.
