What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
We search various modules and packages. We have various methods to extract particular entities. The solution uses NER and regular expressions to extract everything from a text automatically. We can even feed WhatsApp messages and long call logs to the tool to extract particular entities. The solution works perfectly well.
What needs improvement?
We got good results with numbers, emails, locations, and company names. However, we did not get good results with names. So, we switched to a different module. The product cannot differentiate between people’s names and company names. It cannot recognize locations in other countries. It identifies locations from the USA and other European countries well. However, it doesn’t work well with Asian countries. We could have trained the product, but we did not do it. We switched to other modules.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The product works well. We did not see any bugs.

The initial setup is very easy. The tool is very easy to install and use. We can install it within five to ten minutes.

Presidio is an open-source tool.
What other advice do I have?
If you are a developer, install the package and go through the website. The vendor has given codes to extract information from text. It is very easy to use. It works well for mobile number and email extraction. We get good results 100% of the time. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
