What is our primary use case?
We are in a transition phase right now. We are still using SolarWinds Help Desk, but we are transitioning to ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus.
We have SolarWinds DameWare Mini Remote Control product, which is remote desktop software.
We are an implementer. I deploy the software and also use it for help desk purposes, accessing end-user desktop to provide support.
What is most valuable?
The software offers compatibility with different versions of Microsoft Windows, ease of use, and features such as file transfer and other capabilities.
Screenshot functionality is supported, and it has built-in chat functionality which we use occasionally.
The product is seamless, easy to use, easy to implement and configure. We did not require any support whatsoever.
It is affordable and allows simultaneous connections, which is beneficial for technical support.
What needs improvement?
I'm not sure, but compatibility with other operating systems such as Mac and Linux would be advantageous. I haven't used it with these systems and don't think it's available.
It might be available but I'm not aware of it, but that's the only improvement I might look forward to.

The solution is very stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It is scalable. We have around 3,000 machines and about 35 technicians, and we are using it without issues.
How are customer service and support?
We never required support. The only support that we require is just to install the license key and handle renewal.

Since we are moving to ServiceDesk Plus as an ITSM product, we will be using their own proprietary remote desktop, but we have not compared it yet.
