Trend Vision One - Network Security is to protect from zero-day threats, specifically by detecting at the network layer because there are many blind spots when it comes to identifying threats within the organization.
This solution helps eliminate those blind spots and helps to detect and respond to threats. Trend Vision One - Network Security eliminates those blind spots by providing powerful detection capabilities as it sits at the network layer by integrating with the core switch and gives complete visibility of all communication that gets established.
It helps with understanding all assets that exist within the environment and specifically detecting lateral movements from one asset to another.
How has it helped my organization?
Trend Vision One - Network Security has positively impacted my organization as our network operations team has found it very useful for monitoring all threats coming in via the network layer and taking swift actions compared to earlier.
Our network operations team now takes swift actions by streamlining and detecting faster in terms of remediation action with the help of Trend Vision One. Previously, when operations related to malware were required, our network team had to use multiple tools and capabilities.

The best features Trend Vision One - Network Security offers include zero-day threat detection and response, which mainly protects against vulnerabilities. Trend Vision One - Network Security helps in identifying those vulnerabilities and also protecting against them.
The zero-day threat detection and response work in practice for my organization by helping secure several zero-day vulnerabilities that were detected in our organization. It helped to prevent vulnerability-based attacks.
What needs improvement?
Trend Vision One - Network Security can be improved by integrating with the native firewall and bringing in that telemetry feed.
I would like to see more telemetry coming in from the risk-based factor so that there should be risk-based tagging across all assets within the organization, specifically focusing on threats related to lateral movement and ransomware. This risk-based scoring is required.
