What is our primary use case?
Workspan serves as a third-party integration tool when our MongoDB products are sold through cloud partners like AWS, Azure, and GCP. The integration flows from Workspan to these cloud platforms.
A specific example of how we use Workspan in one of these integrations involves referrals created in Salesforce. These referrals are synced to Workspan, where they are then distributed to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud based on the prerequisites and details we add. Workspan acts as an intermediary between Salesforce and the actual cloud service.
Workspan fits into our process as a two-way integration. We create referrals from Salesforce that go to Workspan, and then from Workspan to the cloud. Additionally, users can create referrals directly on Workspan, which then integrate back to Salesforce, solidifying the two-way functionality.
How has it helped my organization?
Workspan has positively impacted our organization widely because we have three main clouds, and it helps us understand that our products are getting sold using those three clouds. Workspan was quite helpful because it contained all the data we required.
Regarding specific outcomes, Workspan makes reporting easier and helps reduce errors. Going directly from Salesforce to the cloud could lead to errors that take time to resolve, whereas in Workspan, if all the information is correct, it goes to the actual cloud. If information is incomplete or incorrect, it gets stuck, making the process time-saving.
What is most valuable?
Workspan's best feature is that it is quick to access and readable, providing all the information in one place, making it quite easy to understand. The UI is very intuitive.
What stands out about the UI is that searching for all the information added in Salesforce and locating that information in Workspan is quite easy.
What needs improvement?
Workspan functions well overall; however, there is one area to note. Sometimes it takes too much time for data to be reflected in Workspan, and this response time could be reduced.
The needed improvement with Workspan is how quickly the platform provides a response.

I have been using Workspan for around three and a half years.
What other advice do I have?
Workspan's AI capabilities related to governance and security are good. Security and governance functions are solid, and everything I have used regarding AI capabilities is effective.
Regarding the accuracy and reliability of output in Workspan's AI capabilities, whatever I have used has been quite accurate.
My advice to others looking into using Workspan is that it is quite useful, and if you use it correctly, it saves a lot of time. I would rate Workspan a nine out of ten.
