What is our primary use case?
For government, I am using
Zoom for Government (GovCloud, FedRAMP) [Private Offer Only] to contact our clients and conduct video calls and video conferences because all of our people are geographically distributed across different continents. I use
Zoom for Government (GovCloud, FedRAMP) [Private Offer Only] specifically to make video calls, conferencing, and share screens. Additionally, I use Zoom for Government (GovCloud, FedRAMP) [Private Offer Only] for regular telecommunication calls, and the voice clarity is very clear on both ends, from our side as well as from our client's side.
In day-to-day operations, I contact different government departments, and when officials are available in their office, I request them to log in to their room. Once they log in, I call from our side, share my screen, and present the project I am delivering, making them aware of the progress and informing them that the project will be completed in the next two to three days or two to three weeks. All of these communications are made via Zoom for Government (GovCloud, FedRAMP) [Private Offer Only] video calls with government employees in different departments.
Zoom for Government (GovCloud, FedRAMP) [Private Offer Only] is very helpful for making outbound calls, especially when internet connectivity on the government client side is very limited. At that time, I immediately call their cell number from Zoom for Government (GovCloud, FedRAMP) [Private Offer Only] phone, which makes it very useful for day-to-day operations.
What is most valuable?
When more than three or five people are available on video conferencing on Zoom for Government (GovCloud, FedRAMP) [Private Offer Only] along with the government and our company's senior management, it becomes very easy to share the screen, showing our clients our progress report. If we encounter any difficulties regarding how to move forward with the project, they also share their screen from their side to guide us, so the screen sharing feature and exchanging files and documents are great features during a video conferencing call.
The file sharing process is very seamless compared to other platforms. When I upload any files to my client from my laptop, it goes without hassle. Within a few seconds, our client in locations such as the USA, Australia, India, Mexico, or Canada immediately receives the files during our video conferencing call, and they guide us after viewing the files and documents.
Zoom for Government (GovCloud, FedRAMP) [Private Offer Only] positively impacts our organization by increasing our work speed. After a video conferencing call, if I forget to download a document, I can return to that call and download the required document that I received from our client, which enhances our productivity despite different time zones. Productivity has improved tremendously since I am able to call my client's direct cell phone number, which helps me increase delivery speed and keeps our clients happy. For email exchanges, I use Microsoft Outlook instead of Zoom for Government (GovCloud, FedRAMP) [Private Offer Only].
What needs improvement?
I would suggest that Zoom for Government (GovCloud, FedRAMP) [Private Offer Only] consider launching an email feature similar to Microsoft Outlook, allowing users to log in with their company email addresses to send and receive emails from clients, which would be beneficial for companies using Zoom for Government (GovCloud, FedRAMP) [Private Offer Only].
The user interface color of Zoom for Government (GovCloud, FedRAMP) [Private Offer Only] could be enhanced. If possible, adding a mixture of colors such as blue, yellow, and white could make it more eye-catching during video conferencing.
I would like to experience how the maximum file size works for video sharing, such as if I make any video of my screen recording and whether I would be able to send or receive a video larger than 50 MB during a video conferencing call. This is important because when facing issues on a project assigned by the government, I occasionally record my screens to send video explanations but am limited by email size constraints.
