We work as a distributor and all our partners and customers use Okta Platform, so that's really useful because we can integrate easily to all the applications of our partners and customers, but also with the cybersecurity ecosystem of solutions like CrowdStrike and Zscaler that we use in our company. The best thing that I'd like to share is the integration between Okta Platform and CrowdStrike, but also with other software that are standards. For example, we are Microsoft customers, but we don't use the identity of Microsoft; we prefer to use Okta Platform that has several integrations and an easy interface to configure all those aspects. The positive thing is that Okta Platform is a software-as-a-service with a subscription model, making it really easy to use. If you need to add some employees, it's really easy to add in the interface. We have customers that use Okta Platform, and what they say about Okta Platform is that it's a standard of security, allowing them to integrate the solution to their applications. For example, if they are a software house or something similar, the integration with their own solutions is the best feature and the best aspect of Okta Platform compared to other competitors. For sure, the security improved after implementing Okta Platform. Also, the timing for the delivery, as mentioned, was really easy, and today we can save a lot of time to log in and manage the identity to our standard cloud applications that we use. The improvement of the security is one of the most important aspects for us as a cybersecurity distribution company. Another improvement is not regarding the platform itself but more about the services. Okta Platform, especially in Europe where we are based, could improve the level of service. In some situations, I think it's not at the same level of the quality of the platform. At the moment we are not using those features of Okta Platform, but some customers of ours are using them, and I can say that overall, at a high level, Okta Platform is investing really well because they want to be a player that can support. To be honest, we are not using that at the moment. Okta Platform is deployed in a public cloud in our organization, which is really important for us. Okta Platform is definitely helping us to improve the identity and access to the public cloud providers because we also use Microsoft Azure and AWS to provide services to our partners and customers. Setting Okta Platform and using Okta Platform as our identity platform solution is really important for us. I would rate this review an 8 out of 10.
Okta Platform made the login process seamless for me by providing security measures for critical applications like GitHub, a major tool for developers. It prevented unauthorized access, ensuring production code remained secure, especially when employees transitioning from their roles could pose risks to the codebase. Between 2020 and the beginning of 2022, I thoroughly tested a Java API above Okta Platform API and observed how Okta Platform secures logins and roles efficiently. I found it effective in managing user roles, allowing for efficient upgrades from regular to admin roles, demonstrating that Okta Platform is a highly secured tool for authentication and authorization with good performance. Mainly at Melio, I experienced quick and secure logins to GitHub and other accounts, which I wanted to protect from unauthorized changes. Okta Platform allowed for this level of security, ensuring that only authorized individuals could access and modify sensitive information. Okta Platform does not protect non-human identities beyond that, as we are not an IoT organization and primarily operate services that transfer money from our system to banks or credit card companies, lacking security for routers or IoT devices. I have not personally noticed measurable security or operational improvements since implementing Okta Platform, as I mainly interact with it as a user rather than as a DevOps or IT professional. My advice for others considering Okta Platform is to design your security, authentication, and authorization roles thoughtfully, akin to IAM and Identity Access Management on AWS. I do not have any additional thoughts on Okta Platform except for one inquiry regarding its performance on secured cloud platforms, particularly under Israeli cloud security solutions and how well it manages heavy loads. I give this product a rating of 8 out of 10.

We did not use Okta Platform for GenAI purposes, so I cannot comment on that. We did not use it for containerized workloads for authenticating those workloads. It was a basic configuration for SSO into our Google Workspace accounts. We did not use Okta Platform for that. We had a different workflow for that. Basically, we used WIF for containerization purposes and we had a sync with GitHub as a workload identity pool. That was a different setup, but we did not use Okta Platform for authenticating the pipelines and containers. We also had service accounts in our Google Workspace. Everything was synced. Service accounts have a different identity compared to user accounts. It was not very different. We used the same protocols of SSO. Previously, before I joined the project, there were a lot of issues authenticating via the traditional Google methods. We had to integrate a lot of in-house apps and external third-party apps. That posed a security risk because if we provided access to all the Google access scopes directly to those apps, it would be a nightmare. We configured them via Okta Platform through our SSO, so that only the authorized personnel were able to log into those applications and not everyone could have access. I saw a lot of improvement in the overall security posture. I do not have any recommendations. My experience has been fair. Okta Platform should focus on remediating the vulnerabilities in the ever-evolving AI landscape because the IDP is critical. If someone has access to the IDP, they can get access to the whole system. They should keep evolving. The review rating I have given for this product is 9.
Regarding Okta Platform's AI capabilities, you have an expectation of 100 percent accuracy and reliability. I think that is relatively easy if you have an IMCP for Okta Platform that guarantees everything is working. It is another aspect that should not require thought; it should just work seamlessly for authentication implementations. Okta Platform helps secure access to APIs, containers, and Kubernetes in our architecture. However, I do not have any AI services in our production environment yet. My advice for others looking into using Okta Platform is that it is a great solution that works well, but they should pay attention to the cost. With a lot of users on the platform, it could get expensive, so they should do the math to see if it works for their specific use case. Overall, for features, I think Okta Platform is satisfactory and usable without problems. I would rate this review a 9 out of 10.
I am not sure about the GenAI aspect, but Okta Platform is very helpful for integrating the identity center and allows us to create multiple individual accounts using the IAM or at the organization level using the identity center. I am in the healthcare industry, but I am not sure how Okta Platform helps address specific industry or regulatory requirements. I do not know about the regulatory environments of the healthcare industry regarding Okta Platform because I am not managing health standards or other governance standards. I have not noticed any measurable security or operational improvements in my cloud-based workloads since implementing Okta Platform, but I find it very helpful to utilize MFA or UBIKeys or other security keys to enforce the login mechanism. I do not know the pricing details of Okta Platform because I am not the appropriate person to discuss pricing matters. The purchasing department will take care of those.
Okta is till date the best tool for SSO and its useful to manage company’s deployed applications. you can grant access to users in Okta. Its UI is also commendable and easy to use.Â
I last engaged with Okta Platform around this time of the year. I was a customer of Okta Platform and found the solution to meet our requirements effectively. The last time I used Okta Platform was relatively recently, and it still remains quite effective for our needs. I did not participate in the decision-making process for Okta Platform purchasing, as that was handled by our procurement team. I would rate this review an eight out of ten.

I think the score I give to Okta Platform overall will completely depend on the use cases each client has because it might vary. From my personal opinion, I would rate it around eight because I think there are many things Okta Platform has that are best in terms of IAM solutions. However, there are still many things that other platforms are doing that are missing in Okta Platform. From my perspective, Okta Platform is currently trying to move towards IGA as well, but there are still some areas for improvement.

I would rate Okta Platform as an eight. I did not work on any health industry projects, but I worked with a food industry known as Flashfood. It is one of the global chains in the US and Canada. They opted for Okta Platform. The one thing is I am a big fan of where people keep things very minimal in the UI. When I go for other solutions, apart from Google, I keep the Google Workspace identity aside because Google is also one of my favorites whenever I am working with identities. For all the non-service accounts, the realms inside Okta Platform allow for stringent policy implementation, such as IP or geographical restrictions, ensuring uncompromised service accounts. My overall rating for this review is eight out of ten.
I rate Okta Platform a 10. The reason for my rating is its reliability, availability, and simplicity. I advise others looking into using Okta Platform to evaluate it; if you are not going to use it, at least evaluate it alongside your current platform to see the difference, as a lot of things can be done through Okta Platform, with availability and reliability being the most important factors.

My advice for teams considering Okta Platform is to start with clear objectives and metrics, defining what success looks like to ensure effective implementation. I am providing this review with an overall rating of eight.
Regarding pricing for Okta Platform, I am not aware of how much it costs because I used to work as a consultant for them, and the licensing details are taken care of by the sales team or others. The solution requires little maintenance, and I would say it is easier to maintain compared to other IM platforms such as SailPoint, which had huge coding and infrastructure costs. My advice to others looking to implement Okta Platform is to definitely go for the software instead of Entra ID, as it offers a much easier and user-friendly UI.
I have not worked with Universal Directory in my case, and I have not worked on it recently. Okta Platform is an IGA solution, so in terms of PAM capabilities, it is not working as PAM for storing passwords or secret vaults, such as Delinea or CyberArk; it is a completely different product.
The reason we recently switched to Okta Platform was a decision made while I was not on the project, as I was with the Air Force at the time. The decision was made by a different branch, I think with the Marines, who were using it and then said that Oracle is obsolete. It was presented as a short message: 'We are using Okta Platform and it works well.' They then asked me to investigate and see how we could use Okta Platform integrated with Oracle. The improvements I already mentioned are based on the fact that IAMs are evolving, and integration with other components is important. My experience with Okta Platform's integrated PAM capabilities involves many steps. There are many steps, and you have to do this, but as long as the document is fine at the start, it is a trial and error process. If it works or not, then you are going to repeat the whole thing and try a different scenario. The project management does not always see the effort behind all of this tweaking Okta Platform to do what they want it to do and meet their business requirements. I would rate this review a seven overall.
I advise others looking into using Okta Platform to start with a clear group strategy before beginning; if the requirement for groups and naming conventions is organized from day one, setting up security policies and automated provisioning will be much easier. I would rate this product 9 out of 10.
One of my team members lost his phone and was unable to do a direct Okta Workforce Identity login. At that time, email multi-factor authentication was useful and helped him to get logged into Okta Workforce Identity and authenticate himself. I do not see any areas for improvement as Okta Workforce Identity is at its best level currently. Okta Workforce Identity is reliable, and its user experience and user interface are great. I would recommend Okta Workforce Identity to others. My overall experience using Okta Workforce Identity has been excellent. I have given this review a rating of ten out of ten.

We discontinued the license for Barista and have moved to Workato Genie. We implemented Workato Genie around six months ago. It is required for the sales team, and they purchased some licenses for the sales and marketing team in the US. We have configured that for IT as well. There can be multiple Genies according to the requirement. If you ask something for the Genie, there is a global Genie and it can redirect that task to the relevant Genie for sales, IT, HR, and other things. We are not using Google except G Suite. We have some licenses for ChatGPT, but that is not for IT requirements. We are still using AWS, Okta Customer Identity, and Jamf; these are our main core business applications. The main benefits Okta Customer Identity provides to users include single point of login for all applications and single authentication, which saves time and reduces frustration. If something is not working, users just open a ticket with the Okta team instead of reaching out to other application owners or POCs. I give Okta Customer Identity a rating of 10 out of 10.

Overall, I would rate Okta Customer Identity a ten. Okta Customer Identity is solely focused on identity management, which makes them excel in this area.
Overall, I rate Okta Customer Identity as nine. Although there are some areas of improvement, its pricing and scalability make it a preferred choice for managing user identity and applications.

If we wanted to access the Azure portal or any other portal, we used to scan with Authenticator. Once it was approved, we accessed the portals. The product is equivalent to Microsoft’s solution. I used Duo instead of Authenticator to authorize applications. People use Conditional Access Policy. People generally prefer Microsoft because it is free. I will recommend the tool to others. Our recommendations are based on the customer’s requirements, bandwidth, and budget. Overall, I rate the tool an eight out of ten.

Overall, I would rate Okta a nine out of ten because there is always room for improvement. However, it is best in class as far as doing the things it does. And it's something that I've implemented with multiple businesses. And it's really well-regarded. Yes. There are alternatives out there. Like, they all do somewhat different in each thing, whereas Okta seems to really be trying to cover all the bases as far as providing solutions that integrate with people's OSBAP, people's active directory, companies that wanna get serverless, touching on, the zero test network security that they're really kind of playing in the center of that zone.
I'm using the latest version of Okta Customer Identity. My company has a partnership with Okta Customer Identity. Two thousand people use Okta Customer Identity within the company, mostly engineers. Three people take care of the deployment and maintenance of the solution: one junior engineer, one system engineer, and one architect. There's a plan to increase the number of users of Okta Customer Identity in the future. My advice to people looking into implementing the solution is to go ahead and implement it. Okta Customer Identity is a very good technology to work with, with a very knowledgeable support team. You'll get instant support, and the team is very supportive. My rating for Okta Customer Identity is eight out of ten. I'm not scoring it a ten because of some gaps. It's fine for me right now, but in the future, I would like to see improvements in the solution.

I would recommend this solution to others. I rate Okta Customer Identity an eight out of ten.
I'm just a user, just an employee who is using this identity provider, and it is completely managed by our administrators. I'd recommend the solution to other users. I would rate the solution eight out of ten.

I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.
My advice to others is to be aware of their current infrastructure. The integration points have to be very clear to the customer to facilitate the main integration. Otherwise, it makes things very complex. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
If you are not concerned by the cost and are looking for a secure IAM solution with great stability and excellent support, then go for it.
