From a pricing perspective, Alteryx is quite price-effective compared to other ETL tools we've used. We began with a starter edition and have now moved to an enterprise edition. We have add-ons that provide advanced capabilities such as server deployment and specialized integrations. Currently, we're working on an enterprise contract and liaising with the enterprise sales team, also evaluating various use cases with cost-saving factors in mind. We now hold about 30 user licenses as we transitioned into the enterprise edition. The switch from Informatica to Alteryx was primarily based on usability, cost, and features. We found excellent use cases for automation through Alteryx, which provided the means to reduce operational costs and streamline the build of ETL pipelines without extensive coding.
My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing indicates that licensing is much costlier. The ongoing cost is very high, which means it is all about checking by my manager because the pricing is a sensitive matter. He did not communicate the details with me, but as of now, to my knowledge, the price is very high, with licensing typically starting around five thousand dollars plus user per year. This often prices out a small setup.
I would rate the pricing of Alteryx Designer as an eight out of ten in terms of costliness. Licensing costs vary based on negotiation and increase with the number of licenses needed. There are no additional costs for features or services; you choose from bundled packages based on your needs.
The product costs five thousand and two hundred dollars per user for each year. The product is a bit expensive, it should be looked into. But there are no hidden costs in Alteryx; you only have to pay for the licensing.
Alteryx Designer is an affordable solution to purchase, but it gets expensive if you try to scale up or collaborate with other solutions. There are no additional costs apart from the standard licensing fees of the solution since, to create a solution, you need to buy more than one license from Designer. It is easy to buy one license from Designer, but then you need to buy more, which makes it quite expensive. I rate the price of Alteryx Designer as a five on a scale of one to ten, where one is extremely expensive, and ten is a highly cheap product.

The licenses are expensive, making it difficult to consider acquiring additional licenses to the existing ones. The cost of a single license is around four thousand dollars, which is costly. I would rate it seven out of ten.

I advise clients to think about the gains in the first project and also all you can achieve with the hours saved by automation and also with broader analytics.
It is too expensive for our country. We are a small country, so it is too difficult to sell this solution. With Alteryx Designer, if you want to automate the data and run the flows, you have to pay more money. We were trying to automate the flows, and we found out that people have to pay 600 more for this feature, which makes it even more expensive. We are a partner for Tableau, and we are working with Tableau Prep, which is like a mini Alteryx. In Tableau Prep, you can drag and drop and make new connections with the different data sources. You can make all the connections. You can also publish a source. You don't have to pay more money with Tableau. You pay like $5 per user per month to access it.
Alteryx is the agentic analytics and automation company helping organizations turn complex data into trusted insights, decisions, and action. Built for the people closest to the business—analysts and operations teams—Alteryx helps organizations put data and AI to work by connecting data, applying governed business logic, and automating data-intensive processes.
At the center of this approach is Alteryx One, a platform designed to work across an organization’s existing data and technology...
I am not aware of the pricing and licensing specifics of Alteryx, but I know it is very expensive.

Alteryx is affordable.
It's cheaper than Palantir, but even Alteryx is too much for small clients. It is expensive, considering the server capabilities.
The solution is expensive. It has license fees, which are renewable every year.
The product is priced at 5000$/person.
The pricing is bit expensive.

I rate Alteryx Designer a six out of ten for pricing.
My advice is if you're looking for just a simple ETL tool, then this is a good solution for you.
I am not aware of the pricing.
Alteryx Designer is an expensive solution. I am using the educational version of the solution.
The licensing renews on a yearly basis.
Alteryx is a little bit expensive compared to competing solutions.
