Regarding pricing, it is not cheap. While it is an enterprise solution, comparing it to low-level switches like Fortinet and Netgear, it is much more expensive. However, comparing it to Cisco and Juniper, it is pretty much the same. I do think they could improve their licensing model. Today, I need to pay for a license, for a switch, for support, and it costs money; it is not cheap. If they improve their licensing prices, it would be great.
I have cross-checked because this network is a ten-gig network. We are using the multigig switches, which Cisco also has. We found that Cisco's cost is 100%, while the cost of the multi-gig switches we are using is about 65% of Cisco's cost. It is much more affordable.
The solution does have some cost-cutting capabilities, however, we would prefer it if it was less expensive. The licensing cost is pretty heavy. That is something that they need to definitely work upon. Customers tend to move away from Arista due to the initial procurement costs or the recurring price, both of which are on the higher side. People are willing to pay at initial procurement, however, when it comes to the recurring price, clients expect to pay a lower price point.
The only licensing costs are for CloudVision, although the upfront price of the device is not cheap. It is not cheaper than Cisco, for example, but it is of high quality.
LAN Switching enhances network performance by segmenting traffic and reducing congestion. It utilizes switches to create multiple collision domains, improving bandwidth availability. This technology is crucial for efficient data handling in enterprise environments.LAN Switching is essential for optimizing network efficiency, providing intelligent forwarding decisions to ensure that data packets are sent to the correct location without flooding unnecessary parts of the network. This capability...

The price is not that good, but our clients value the solution despite the price.
