My experience with the pricing of Cisco UCS Manager ( /products/cisco-ucs-manager-reviews ) is that it is reasonable. Recently, we acquired an excellent bundle with significant discounts, with offers like buying three servers and getting one free, along with UCSC and fabric included for free. We managed to secure the bundle before it expired, making it extremely cost-effective, and our customer was very pleased.

The licensing cost for Cisco UCS Manager is around four out of ten. It is not cost-effective due to its high price, especially regarding memory expansion.
In comparison to other solutions, it is expensive. In HP servers, for example, we have HP SIM, and in Dell DXL, there's Dell Open Manager. Cisco UCS Manager is not as familiar with upgrades, maintenance, deployment and manageability.
Cisco UCS Manager’s annual licensing fee is expensive. The solution and the equipment required to get the functionality going for Cisco UCS Manager are costly. So we've got a host out of a hosted data center, and we have to put it into a demilitarized zone, which adds to the total cost of ownership.
Cisco UCS is expensive compared to others. The Cisco UCS Chassis is more expensive than a standalone server, but some companies require standalone servers because of their production load and affordability. You need to pay more if you require more features on the Blade or if you need more ports on the switch.

Cisco UCS is more expensive than Dell and HP, but it is more reliable. I see less issues and it's quite stable. They don't do component pricing, so you get everything you need in a bundle.
If someone working with SAP (System Analysis and Program Development) or some other system, I recommend HyperFlex for that infrastructure as a better hardware solution but not the application. If you work with SAP and something like S/4 HANA or anything else, Cisco is a good hardware solution. On a scale from one to ten, where one is the worst and ten is the best, I would rate Cisco USC Manager a seven because the pricing and quality of the product with the discount from Cisco make HyperFlex a good value compared to other solution. As we preferred Cisco as a solution at a great price, I think many people will consider it a better option. With some training and support, we can solve the issues we have.

As long as they can afford it, there is a setup cost involved.

Cisco UCS Manager pricing is on the expensive side. I would rate its affordability at three out of ten. It is not very affordable.
Cisco is the most expensive compared to other vendors like Dell and HP when it comes to data center solutions.
We need to take a license for each port, which amounts to a big sum.

The pricing for Cisco UCS Manager is okay for its market, so it's a four out of five for me.
Currently, we're mostly paying for maintenance. As for the cost of the solution itself, I'm not sure what it is.
I am not sure what the price is, but you buy the hardware and then you get Cisco UCS Manager for free.
Cisco is moving forward with its licensing.
