Hexnode UEM's primary use case is the management of mobile devices, which is the main requirement of our customers and companies implementing Bring Your Own Device solutions. They want to manage the devices connecting to enterprise resources and ensure that all connected devices are up to date and will not be the weakest link in terms of cybersecurity. Hexnode UEM is effective at monitoring this by prompting the administrator when a device is out of patch, out of date, or not secured, allowing the administrator to cut the connection or prevent the device from connecting to any company resources. We utilize Hexnode UEM's geo-tracking feature, though it depends on the customer. Most transportation and logistics companies require this feature, but for other industries, we do not use the geo-location feature at all. Hexnode UEM's integration capabilities include integrating the UEM to IT service management, where if one device or multiple devices are not compliant, it triggers an alert to create a ticket in the IT service management system and assign it to technical support or IT support personnel to help remediate the issue. Another integration use case involves integrating Hexnode UEM to a remediation server or compliance server. It can generate a report and pass it to a different technology or different brand to act upon. The remediation server or compliance server, if it is a different brand, will analyze the report from Hexnode UEM and act on it. Hexnode UEM's compliance features address various use cases. Additionally, security must be in place so it complies with the company's current policy and the compliance requirements of the industry. For some industries, data protection compliance is required, meaning all data residing in the devices should be protected. Hexnode UEM has features and technology that help with compliance in all these aspects.
