My main use case for Skyhigh Security is primarily for CASB functionality, SaaS security visibility, cloud data protection, and policy enforcement across enterprise collaboration platforms. The platform helps us to monitor and control data movement across Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and other cloud applications used globally by different business units. On a daily basis, I mainly use Skyhigh Security for monitoring cloud applications activities, reviewing risky user behavior, and enforcing data protection policies across SaaS platforms. A common use case is monitoring external file sharing activities in Microsoft 365 environments, especially OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams. The platform helps identify when sensitive files are shared externally, for example, or when users attempt actions that violate internal security policies. Another frequent use case I have is Shadow IT visibility. The platform helps identify cloud applications being used without formal approval, allowing the security team to evaluate risk levels and decide whether the application should be allowed, restricted, or monitored more closely. From a governance perspective, the DLP capabilities are used daily to monitor sensitive data movement and enforce compliance-related controls across cloud collaboration platforms.
Skyhigh Security is primarily used by us to offer our customers SSE (Secure Service Edge), and Skyhigh fulfills this requirement very effectively. One of our customers was seeking a CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker) solution and was unable to manage shadow applications. Some applications were sanctioned while others were unsanctioned, and the customer had no visibility into the unsanctioned applications. We offered them Skyhigh Security, and they are now satisfied. Skyhigh Security offers many SSE products including Secure Web Gateway, both cloud-based and on-premises versions. They also provide ZTNA, Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), which is excellent, Remote Browser Isolation for controlling user access to applications, and Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform. Whenever our customers require Skyhigh Security, we offer it to them, and it provides outstanding SSE capabilities. Their SSE security service is excellent and aligns with customer requirements.

At our company, we mainly use Skyhigh Security as a secure web gateway proxy. We use Skyhigh Security for web filtering and whitelisting, blacklisting websites, and general web traffic filtering, mainly for HTTP and HTTPS traffic.

My main use cases for Skyhigh Security were securing internet access for people working remotely before the COVID pandemic, and helping prevent data loss through people uploading files and sensitive information to web-based services and online storage drives. A specific example of a scenario where I used Skyhigh Security for one of these use cases is when the agent was installed on all of our laptops. This meant that even when we were working from home and not on the VPN, whenever we were browsing the web, all of the content that we were seeing and all of the URLs we were trying to visit were going through the cloud instances of the Skyhigh Security scanners to ensure we did not go to prohibited websites and that there were no malicious files downloaded to our laptops. Skyhigh Security worked reasonably well, I very rarely had issues, and their uptime was good enough that we did not experience any outages.

My main use case for Skyhigh Security is for application monitoring to monitor security threats, risk activity, and to create company policies. I can give you a quick specific example of how I use Skyhigh Security for monitoring threats or enforcing company policies: we were using a lot of cloud apps including Office 365, and we wanted to have control over that. The cloud security provided a dashboard with features including web security and cloud access control, which was very helpful.

I am currently working on Cisco Email Security Gateway, ESA, and I am also exploring Trellix Skyhigh proxy. I have been working with Skyhigh Security for the last six to seven months. My customer is using the solution, and we are supporting the client location as well. They have a vendor in the Bangalore area of southern India from which they procured on-premises servers. In security posture, we have integrated Skyhigh Security with IBM QRadar, which is quite helpful to know how the activities are going. If any critical or security events occur in Skyhigh Security, we are able to get those to our IBM QRadar, making it very much easier to monitor all the security events in our environment. This is a major use case compared to other tools, as Skyhigh Security is the most useful for our security posture.
I am familiar with Skyhigh and Symantec. The customer's AWS environment is being used, so that understanding is correct. I help customers install and maintain policies and also provide deployment for my customers. They use Threat Protection and the categories, and the antivirus in the Web Proxy as part of the solution they use. I only work with Security Web Gateway, so that is my experience.

We use Skyhigh Security to block user access or personal access. We have some services to prevent users from consuming all bandwidth for some applications that are very important for the organization. We also use the solution to permit some users to access personal networks.
The solution is primarily being used for data loss prevention in cloud environments and for PCI compliance. Right now, I'm implementing SecureWeb Gateway, Zero Trust, and VMware browser installations. My customers are in the financial or banking sectors, and they normally require new technologies. Skyhigh is mostly complete and it's a security host for other products.
We are currently using Skyhigh Security with Office 365. We are, however, looking for another similar tool to be able to compare capacities with Skyhigh Security. Our primary use case is the protection of sensitive information.

So we are using Skyhigh for SWG and CASB. Those are the two primary use cases. We also use it as a web proxy to allow users to access the internet securely. The product includes content filtering and reporting. In addition, we use McAfee EPO to manage McAfee antivirus and proxy agents.
Our primary use case for Skyhigh Security is ICAP. We're also using it for web proxy and filtering purposes for all internal company websites and user sites such as Microsoft Team filtering.
We have 2 customers using McAfee Web Gateway. It is very useful as a complement to endpoint security. It is used to monitor incoming and outgoing traffic, as well as production.
We use this solution for controlling web content that the users are accessing. It's very good in case situations where you have the use of a VPN connection. You can control your employees when they are in the office and out of the office, without using a VPN in the same fashion. The on-premise solution will control them when they are on the corporate network, and when they're off the corporate network, the cloud's gateway will control them. They have the same policies.
