In AutomationEdge, I think there could be improvements. I have not used it in maybe two months, but in the past, you needed to put code JavaScript or similar programming languages. The variables sometimes are really confusing when you use them because the aspects around the variables are confusing, particularly the global variables and the local variables.
Areas of AutomationEdge that could be improved or enhanced in future releases include pricing considerations. While I find AutomationEdge generally stable, I believe that stability needs to be improved a little.
There is significant room for improvement. The main issue is with GUI, which has a dependency on drivers currently, though they are working on improving this. They are reducing the dependency on Java in AutomationEdge because the whole platform is designed on Java platform. The platform is providing AI solutions already. They could improve by adding capabilities to fix errors inside the workflows itself, similar to UIPath and other platforms. Currently, there is limited AI compatibility, though we can write our own scripts to reduce that gap.

AutomationEdge's primary issue is its price point, especially compared to products from companies like Microsoft that offer similar solutions as part of broader agreements. Competing against such bundled offerings takes time and effort.
AutomationEdge's ecosystem has shortcomings and needs improvement. When we compare AutomationEdge to other RPA tools in our company, we find that it has a very minor online community. Suppose you have or run into any issues in AutomationEdge. In that case, you don't find much information on the web or Google, whereas with Automation Anywhere, UiPath, or Blue Prism, you can find a lot of information publicly available. You have to go to the vendor, the OEM, or the manufacturer if you run into an issue using AutomationEdge, which is problematic.

The price is an area that needs improvement. So, our customers are comparing AutomationEdge with Microsoft Power Automate since customers see the latter as a free tool. When the customer is going to invest in the tool at the beginning, it depends, considering the costs of the license.
I believe that there is always room for improvement in any software available in the market. With the solution, customizing software can be time-consuming. Also, it requires a strong development team that can comprehend and work on the product. Therefore, investing in improving the tool's functionality would be better. I found a feature interesting, which would allow for the exchange of information between the bot and enable obtaining all the information, similar to a blockchain process. However, we couldn't implement it in the bank due to budget constraints. I would like to see such improvements in the future.
With other automation solutions in the market, we can simulate the process in our notebooks where the solution creates the code for us, but with AutomationEdge we can't do this. The solution does not have a standard configuration with SAP. I would like to have a standard configuration added in a future release.
The price of the solution could be improved. Additionally, a modular concept can be implemented. For example, if we buy one bot, we have it for 24 hours. They can also provide bots for six hours which can help many small-scale industries achieve their goals.
The ease of use is the main thing on which they really have to focus. If they want to go against the giants, it should be improved in ease of use, and it should be more user-friendly. It would be helpful because everyone should be empowered irrespective of whether they know how to code or not. They should enhance its user interface and make it more intuitive.

They could provide more technologies for IT and security to enhance machine learning capabilities.
There are some shortcomings in the product's stability that need improvement.

The installation process could improve. It was difficult to complete.

In the future, they should have a similar version for the cloud and on-premises, and the installation should be flawless within few minutes.
