No. Oracle will provide updates to Solaris at least till 11/2037. This is a guarantee. it was extended in the past several times.

Answered a question: What do you like most about Oracle Solaris?
I like to long-term focus. The tools/API are stable and don't change every few years like in Linux.
The ZFS filesystem is very powerful and easy to use. No other operating system has something similar.
