Here at IT Central Station, we offer a crowdsourced platform that allows real users to share their opinions about tech products with the rest of the enterprise tech community. We have compiled over 46,000 views of the top enterprise flash array storage vendors by real users in 2015 and analyzed their trends in the infographic below. All of our data is based on actual behavior of real users researching and comparing vendors on IT Central Station.
The top 5 vendors based on reviews were Tintri, PureStorage, Nimblestorage, HP 3PAR, and NetApp. HP 3PAR led the field in both the number of reviews as well as views. Interesting article when gauging options for storage since there are so many vendors now. I would think Nimble Storage would be higher on the list, but it was interesting to see where they ranked.

NetApp is going with the same trend as per the discussions with the NetApp representatives I met.But the capacity drives, especially QLC, will lead to a slight performance degrade. There should be a way to mix QLC+SLC disks for a better performance.
I don't work for Netapp, but I work a lot with NetApp and purchasing.
The trend from Netapp is the same. They are starting to move away from SATA/SAS/NL disks, although I don't think they will go away completely for a long time.
The whole Netapp AFF Cxxx-series is capacity NVMe and is sold at a much cheaper price than the AFF Axxx-series, but not on the level of the FAS-series.
$/GB and/or ROI of the C-series is quite good I would say and the performance is far beyond the FAS-series.
